Purchased in mid-December 2020 ...
And thanks to our crack PO - Arrived in early January 2021 -
So does this count as a 2021 pick-up? Don't Really Care - Just like showing it off....
The latest addition to my Mantle / HOF Stars collection:
Whoa. That might burst into flames.
Be careful.
Curious about the rare, mysterious and beautiful 1951 Wheaties Premium Photos?
Main collecting focus is Patrick Roy playing days 85/86-02/03, expect 1/1, National/All-Star stamped cards.PC Completion: 2,548/2,952; 86.31% My Patrick Roy PC Website:https://proy33collector.weebly.com
Pretty sure I remember this guy losing both ends of a doubleheader (relieved in both games) when he was with my beloved Indians...In fact, he may be the only guy who had done that, as well as throw a no-hitter...can anyone confirm?
Great addition to my future HOF collection (?) or at the least, Hall of the very good class.
Check another one off the want-list.
Thrilled with this centered example!

I love the Greatest Moments set. Still need a Yaz.
There's a PSA 7 Yaz on eBay for $275. Is that overpriced? I picked up the Mays' from another website for a good deal but I am not all too familar with pricing on these.

The last 3 PSA 7’s sold for between $225 and $270, so no, that’s not overpriced. However I’m targeting a couple of grades lower.

Yeah, he was a force in the late 80’s to mid 90’s. Even better when it comes in a 87TTT.
Finally landed this Jeter....with the lower pop. Marlins Inaugural stamp....... The Marlins stamp I wanted as it foreshadows his post playing career and partial Ownership/ Presidency of the Marlins club itself ~ VERY COOL...... Needless to say his RC's are climbing this past month....some fantastic cards this month on this thread ....a real treat to live vicariously thru....Great Butkus/Luckman RC's!!
Another addition from our neighbors to the north. Con Jones ran tobacco shops and billiards halls in the Vancouver area under the name, "Don't Argue." He was also a big sponsor of lacrosse, which actually resulted in his induction into the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame. The "ILA" initials on this team stand for International Longshoremen's Association, a labor union in the Pacific Northwest. The team was basically comprised of Indigenous dock workers in the area.
Todd Tobias - Grateful Collector - I focus on autographed American Football League sets, Fleer & Topps, 1960-1969, and lacrosse cards.
I added what might be considered a Sid Gillman pre-rookie card, a 1955 Rams team issue. It measures 4.5" x 6.75". I guess it is a UER also, as they misspelled his last name.

Very impressive Jeter. I have always liked the Marlins inaugural cards (6k print run), with this being the best one. Sorry jr!
@mintonlypls ...... I was watching that card but I didn't like the left side cut of the upper half...... I know opeechee has issues with fraying but it looked a little too far away from inside the slabs left edge...... a little dubious to me..... This above copy I pressed the BIN and paid over 3k less than PWCC 12k example you are referring to. Check out the difference for yourself below...whatya think?... best ~ DL

You are NOT kidding!! Love the Butkus!

Filling in empty spots of the Alomar run.
As if minor league cards of HOFers weren’t cool enough, that one is sponsored by a card shop. Awesome!

Picked up some Lemieux stuff this month. Perhaps the nicest is the early signature in mint condition, but I’m happy with all of them to be honest.
As a kid, the Tulsa Drillers team issued card sets were sponsored by the Tulsa Baseball Card Store. Always thought that was pretty neato!
