i shipped a package out that hasn't been scanned for 9 days, i called usps this morning to do a trace on it. its insured so i am not that worried about it. i ordered shipping supplies and that package was shipped 2 weeks ago and it's still nowhere close to where i live. the storms and the covid are double trouble
I have 6 packages lost/delayed right now.
I had to refund 2 others that took over 20 days, buyers got the item 4 days after the refund.
Had a Priority Mail package that took 14 days to get there.
I feel like I am walking into a casino not a post office and I think the odds are better at the casino.
Went to the post office to talk to them, they said everything is real slow nationwide and that 2 weeks to 30 days is not uncommon.
I asked them "what do I need to do to make sure a package gets there, ship it overnight with a guarantee?"
They said "we are not guaranteeing delivery of overnight right now."
Walker Proof Digital Album Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Just when we thought it was safe to go outside again.....
This is a Priority Mail envelope (a payment to me) which was supposed to be delivered last Saturday. Probably stuck in a USPS delivery van wheel well somewhere:
They did 3 weeks ago via mail. He just hasn't received it yet

DeJoy gave few details of the strategic plan, which he said would be unveiled in the next two weeks. But he responded to questions from lawmakers concerned over reports that among the provisions is a plan to extend some first-class mail delivery times. He said the current three- to five-day standard for delivering first-class mail has not been met "for years."
Actually first class is the only reliable service now; priority is slow; expresses are often two days without a guaranteed time. Maybe death and taxes will take a holiday as well....Dejoy's days are numbered. What happened to promoting from within the ranks like the military?
Package I shipped (from South Dakota) on Feb 12 just arrived in Maine yesterday (Mar 5). I had already sent a replacement last Monday and it got there Friday (5 days). Cost me $40 to do the replacement. EVERYTHING I have either going to or coming from the Northeast has massive delays if it was mailed before March 1. Packages going south and west are all on time. I guess our Pony Express horses are faster out here than say Ohio and Pennsylvania.
It definitely was getting better in with all the delivery services in January, but now even the first class mail is really slow. It took from February 8, to March 3, for a first class letter to get from Massachusetts to Florida.
ALERT: TRACKING INFORMATION MAY BE UNAVAILABLE INTERMITTENTLY OR DELAYED STARTING AT 1 AM SAT., MARCH 6 THROUGH SUN., MARCH 7 AROUND 3 AM ET WHILE WE PERFORM ROUTINE MAINTENANCE.
Yes USPS issues due to times we are in and will be on field for sometime. Adapt / Plan accordingly.
It’s gonna be a long long time before 2019 conditions return especially w certain states letting down their guard. Situation may worsen before improves.
Expresses always have been safe in my experience. Though lately usps was pulling its guaranteed delivery time, then went back to that. My local postmaster made a snide remark a couple weeks ago about the guarantee being pulled; he said "you're slipping!" Actually I didn't know they pulled the guaranteed time. If you went online to claim a refund it would say something to the effect that the parcel was delivered so the refund was denied.
I had an express shipped from Florida on Thursday but no tracking since. I'm not worried, they couldn't get it on the FedEx plane which usps uses for expresses. Very likely it will show up at JFK ma·ña·na, and then I will get it later in the day.
I dropped off several packages this past Monday, had them scan and stamp my scan form, and got a receipt. All was well until I got an email Friday from a buyer asking when I was going to drop the coin off. Although I have a receipt showing acceptance, the packages were never entered and sat in the post office until Friday night when they were scanned at the next location.
On a positive note, I had a registered package from our host that made it all the way across the country to my post office over the weekend. My last registered package took 4 weeks to get delivered.
I got a package that made it within 30 miles of its destination and then showed up about 12 hours away the next day. 🤦♂️ It’s been in transit since. 😥

Fire DeJoy please. Today.
"It's like God, Family, Country, except Sticker, Plastic, Coin."
If I hear, "Your package will arrive later than expected, but is still on its way. It is currently in transit to the next facility," one more time!!
My worst USPS package endured that statement for 30 days!!!!

My experience was good in January but now late February slowing down again like December - stuff 'in transit' with no tracking for over a week

just got some coins today that went from NJ -> PR -> MN
AS a follow up....
the 5th coin was shipped registered from Ma to ARIz = 7 days.
A sixth went Ma to IDaho (rural area) 8 days.
Overall shipments are arriving rather quickly.

I sure hope it gets better, especially with such an increase in online shipping.
The problem with the USPS is that Newman is still working there.
My bubble envelopes sent First Class with tracking are being delivered in 1 to 2 days. Just amazing this week. I live in MD
USPS fail and win this week..

USPS doing well for me considering the pandemic.
Took 33 days for a priority box to go from North Delaware to Philadelphia. Completely unacceptable, they need to get DeJoy out.

I 've got a package shipping that's currently in a usps destination facility, the zip code for which doesn't actually exist lol
