    1) Basic US Coin Design Type Set (no gold) on PCGS Registry — 7 coins left!
    2) Small cent type set on PCGS Registry — 2 coins left!
    3) Double-sided toned silver Washington Qs set on PCGS Registry
    4) Whitman album of state quarters from uncirculated mint sets
    5) Whitman album of Innovation Dollars from $100 mint bags

The first one is my primary pursuit and where I spend most of my time and budget, but I’m down to only a few holes and am quite selective with what I add, so sometimes it’s a while between purchases.

Nothing is as expensive as free money.

The set I am always working on is a graded Roosevelt dime set. The complete set with varieties is 350+ coins. I am 90 coins into that one. Most likely, I will not complete that set fully. I can't bring myself to buy clad proofs during the years there were silver proofs. And I am not much of a variety collector.

The other set that has my focus is a short set of Buffalo nickels in MS65 or better(no varieties). I am missing the 1934, 1935-D and 1935-S. We have a couple coin shows coming up in the next month or two. Hopefully, between those two shows I can finish this set. The set is made up of 4 different TPG slabs and one raw. I couldn't find a fully struck 1937 nickel that was graded. But, I found a really nice raw 1937 to get graded.

Working on War Nickels in PCGS slabs ( have 8 of 11). I expanded it also to include 1938-1942 so basically the whole set 38-45. Also kind of doing a box of 20

Not exactly coin related but I just finished making this display of FDOI "Bicentennial" $2 Bills. Each bill has a state stamp on it, and I decided to include the previous and current reverses.

    Great display Chris!

Slowly working through MS Franks. Not super focused on it, though.
I’m working on organizing, too. Also working on figuring out if I can get into a little brinks safe that I lost the combo to (but still have the key) so I can use it again.

@1630Boston.... I would 'assume' the coin to fill the Innovation Dollar blank in your set will be the Massachusetts dollar with the telephone dial design.
As far as what I am working on.....Nothing specific... I watch for W coins now...No sets or series in particular. If I like it, I add it. One thing I have noticed about getting old, one tends to have a lot of things already. So not much new stuff is necessary. Fun time... ;) Cheers, RickO

Looking to keep current with our U.S. & Canadian coins in all our family's sets, as well as maybe finally fill a hole or 2 to complete a series or at least a folder here or there in our sets.

For the most part, that means finding U.S. & Canadian trading partners for coins from around 2018 thru 2020, with other specific coins tacked on (like Walkers, Peace & Morgan, ATB's, etc). If anyone's interested in swaps, I'm always open to the idea.

Right now I'm looking for a $10 lib in OGH / CAC (ms64, 1900-1907). This will finish an 8-piece gold type set.

After I find that $10, I will probably shift focus to a date run of $5 indians. We'll see.

Working on my silver Roosie set. Trying to get all 67fb or better. One left. I have 2 66+'s to submit. Also started a Washington 41 - 64 set in ms65 white. Once that is close to complete ( about 70 % right now ) I'll start the 32 to 40 portion although they'll not be all ms65's.

Coin roll hunting...Long story very short...

Received 8 U.S. Mint rolls of the Westward Journey nickels.
Keelboat P&D, Bison P&D, Western Waters P&D, and Monticello P&D.
The seller horribly and barely packaged it and it ended up being bagged and rescued by the USPS!

Amazingly all 8 rolls arrived in the package!
2 are slightly torn, a few have some damage...unfortunately it was 100% the seller's laziness.

I have a more rolls of all the Westward journey nickels which have all been treated quite well, so I decided to open all 8 of these unfortunate nickel rolls that were so horribly cared for.

I've opened 3 of them so far and am pleasantly surprised to be finding even a few in fantastic condition.
The Monticello roll I opened was not only ALL Full Steps but also brought me a very possible MS67!!!

So no complaints and feeling grateful the day before Thanksgiving :-)
Thankful I can even afford the time and money to search search rolls after so many years!!! :-)
    Happy Thanksgiving!

The only American item I have my eye on is a Hard Times Token, but since it’s in an auction, I will get blown out of the water. So far as other things, it’s an interesting piece of British Norman hammered coinage, which I won and a Roman emperor here and there.

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

I'm working on a submission (been saving coins for years waiting for PCGS to adopt the "PL" designation) and also trying to list coins on eBay that I just haven't had the time nor energy to list.
I put up nearly 135 today which is a record for me.
    Now, a beer. :)

I've been buying lots of gold and silver. There are some deals if you're willing to risk new sellers. By and large it's been nothing but a boon for me. And if something screws up, just dispute on your card if PayPal fails. I've yet to have both do me dirty.

Seeing spot go down right now means so much to me. There are still sellers asking list prices for stuff. And then the reality of +$100-$200 premium on some coins. It's like with ammo. People still sell around old prices and everyone else is dealing with reality. It's very easy to buy from Party A going off list prices and sell to Party B dealing with the reality of shortages and demand. Coins and metals aren't the only markets doing this right now.

Business has tripled and I had to stop selling coins and trawling ebay. Things are off the handle here. Just got 500 boxes and uh, gonna need more soon. So I've been sending in older holders.

1904 was in a generic 63 slab and is PCGS 63. 1899 was in an MS62 rattler and is 64. 1939-S cent was in ANACS 67 and is PCGS 67. 1910 went from 63 to 62 but looking at the TV is clearly cleaned trash and needs to go. Well, not really, but you know how it goes. I think the 1939-S deserves a + for that luster but whatever, can't give low pop to the plebs.

Been stocking ammo. Turned all my mixed 90% into proof and UNC Halves. Also got a new flashlight.

I was gonna build a digital album but the app is unmanageable so I guess I'll pass on that for the next however long.

Oh, and Bitcoin effectively doubled like I said it would back in March. So I've pulled some gold out of the profits. But tbh, I'm holding for a bit. It just keeps making me money. This is the first year I don't wanna pay some of my intl vendors with it. Digital currency is going nowhere and it's faster than ever supported by PayPal and other tech giants. Not a lot of my customers are using it in a market where it was a fairly regular thing.

It's another store of wealth somewhere offsite, available internationally with no exchange fees and not monitored by any govt, accessible only with my encrypted password. What's not to love?

I can't imagine the people who made fake gold a thing and actively fix the market would EVER try to influence a contender they can't control, tax or track, right? :D
