My 5 card regular order was entered on 3/8 and logged in on 4/23. It's now at grading. I'm hoping for a few good hits...81 Montana pulled from a cello last year, 1966 Mantle, 1960 Clemente, 1960 Mantle, 1960 Yaz RC.

That will be a fun sub! My regular order entered 4/9 is still in R&ID but since CTD is only 2/3, I figure I have a couple of months yet.
Well My Express Sub that was shipped out on 4/23 somehow slid through the Anaheim backlog I encountered a couple weeks back with my other sub that sat in Sunny CA for a week and is supposed to be delivered today
That gives me 2 Subs left at PSA, a Value Modern that went to Research on 1/26 that was received / entered in Oct 2020 and my Regular Sub that was received 3/16 but has yet to be logged
Looks like I wont have much to contribute here for a bit - good luck to all of you in getting your subs!

Mine has been at QA2 for about a 6-7 days, It will be my first to pop. 3 card economy scanned in late September.

I’ve got a regular tiered sub that has been in QA2 for 12 calendar days.
Based off the CTD changes I think one of the best things they can do moving forward is to "redistrict" if you will the service types. Obviously they have an enormous backlog of Value modern, of course that is where most of my cards sit being a predominant 70's collector. Hopefully when they open everything back up for submissions of all types they will extend Value Vintage to maybe 1975. Have those vintage graders come up to speed on those few extra years, and squeeze modern down to 76-2016. Heck I'd even say make everything back to 2010 be considered "ultra modern". Maybe the graders all work on every type of card, but I would think they have specialists and just not enough fire power to make a dent in all the modern subs. Either way its been a very frustrating year sitting with 12 subs at PSA oldest from July 4th of last year newest January of this year and I literally haven't had ANYTHING move in more than 3 weeks...

Good info. My two-card regular (entered 3/8, moved out of grading on 4/24) just entered QA2 today and I'm curious when I'll hear something. Does PSA send an email with grades at some point? Are they posted to my account? This is my first sub.
And after 12 days my Regular sub finally shook the Q2 status. Generally pleased with the grades. I thought one of the Lemieux's was a 9 but the red corners are grade killers.

Grades popped! And I think I’m done with PSA grading for good after one submission. I ask this seriously - is there a way to cancel an existing 20-card value modern thats been entered to prevent me from wasting $240?

@Geoff76 - Every time I've had a vintage card come back with a 3 or 4 when I expected much higher, there has been a slight surface wrinkle on the back that I missed. Not sure if that is the case here but when everything else looks good and it is a 4 or less, that's been my experience. That PSA 8 Rice is a nice card! I have two to send in once things open up again.

I was able to cancel my quarterly special order that was in research and ID. Had to pay shipping to get them back, but it should be doable if you haven’t been charged yet/grading not done.
Thanks, @envoy982 . I'm currently researching the price of plastic to see if the holder might one day exceed the value of a 1975 Schmidt with a 4 attached to it. Alternatively, I might be able to barter it for a 9% imperial stout/double IPA at my local brewpub. In my current mood, I may go that route.
Maybe it's the picture playing tricks, but it looks like a wrinkle/crease on the right side about halfway up where the yellow turns to green. Just a guess.

Appreciate it - I checked the same thing to confirm it’s just the picture. Here’s another (close up) of a picture of the same card I sent to a friend.
The close up looks much better. I'd wait until you get the card back and have a chance to look closely at it. I would think that most of us have had a few head-scratchers, but there is usually a reason. I'd hate to see this experience sour you for future submissions.
Example: This card has near perfect centering, corners that could draw blood, but somehow my stupid eyes missed a big crease in the bottom border. Obvious under magnification.

I truly believe that with the vintage paper, some graders just convince themselves that anything not completely smooth is a crease or wrinkle. I have had a bunch of 50's cards come back with head scratchers that I would then convince myself something was there that wasn't . I would send them back and the cards would be as expected. and more than a few times I just missed something out of laziness before sending in
Grades popped! I got the upcharge email on the 15th, so I already knew the grades, but glad to see they're in the shipping process today. I'll post scans when they arrive. Note: The Montana is one of the nicest PSA 8s around. I really thought it had a shot at a 9. It's got one small spot on the left edge of the surface that probably kept it from being a 9, but its a really sweet card.

keep a tally on the number of days before it actually pops. right now guessing about 4 days and then another 3 to actually ship after that.
The express order grades popped at 145AM CST on the 14th. Shipped at 331AM CST same day.
wow. do they "image" cards at that up charge level?
I don't think they charged me for the image, I believe its included with the express charge.
if they didn't image it then that would explain why it got out so fast. you'll be able to find out after about a week when you check the cert number. it will pop up if so.
my up charges lately have been requiring imaging (which is a great thing for the hobby, imo) and naturally that's been backed up too. currently have one that was done back on 4/8 at premium 1 level but still hasn't shipped bc it's "stuck in imaging".

So one of my modern value subs from Sept is about to pop, the cards had disappeared from the submission page so it should be close, this is actually my buddy's cards and I suggested we do a blind review over dinner and some beverages. I thought because they are not my cards I would have will power. Well they have not even popped yet and my anxiety is 9+ lol. Doubt highly I will even make it thru the day without looking. But I won't tell him so at least one of us will be surprised, I will try though.

big in deep. might be a lil while. have a modern that is at “disappeared” mode of qa2 for 8 days now!
w/ the shut down, im thinking its only natural for stuff to be entered and move thru first few stages much quicker than before but the backend stages get bottlenecked?

I see others posting q-1 and 2 in the same day so I have been checking 57 times a day. In other news my 2 express orders still not entered, and those are mine... so I got that going for me.

i agree. and i wasnt trying to rain on your parade. rather help you prepare for the worst and hope for the best. as w @soxaddict sub above and his upcharge info that he got back on the 15th (which grades were made available back then) just now officially popping and/or shipping 12 days later. just a lot of things ive been trying to convey that most wont realize until they go thru it.
@blurryface I was just joking about the depressed part ( sorta ). Prepare for the worst and hope for the best is the way I approach everything, living through the worst in a lot of instances cause that. This is one of the only threads I look for daily on the board. The info is very helpful and I appreciate it.

Well, I just got the email that my grades popped on my 9/28/20 sub. I haven’t looked yet as I know it’s going to be 9 months or more for the rest of my subs so I have nothing to look forward to once I see these. I mean, I have no self control so I’ll look soon but it’s kind of bittersweet.

This sub was a lot better than I expected. BGS 9 prizm Zion I cracked went to a 10 as well as several raw cards off eBay that gemmed. I’ll post the list when I get home. It’s not copying well from my phone for some reason.
I received email today that my grades are available on my 15 free CC order that was logged 9/28. I haven't checked the grades, I always wait til I get them in hand. This is the first order I am receiving in over a year, so I'm excited to finally get these. I did not receive any up-charge email, which I am surprised with the change in value since I shipped them 8 months ago. The best card in the sub is a really nice 1981 Topps Larry Bird that has really taken off. Just hope I did not get murdered on the grades.

Mine was 9/28 also and I did very well. I hope you got the same grader!
@blurryface d’oh hopefully soon. Seems like they are making a little progress but it seems like they pick one or two submission levels and focus on those for a day or two then pick something else for the next couple of days.

Well, I just got the email that my grades popped on my 9/28/20 sub. I haven’t looked yet as I know it’s going to be 9 months or more for the rest of my subs so I have nothing to look forward to once I see these. I mean, I have no self control so I’ll look soon but it’s kind of bittersweet.

a ton of stuffed entered today at various levels that arrived around mid-march.
This sub was a lot better than I expected. BGS 9 prizm Zion I cracked went to a 10 as well as several raw cards off eBay that gemmed. I’ll post the list when I get home. It’s not copying well from my phone for some reason.
I received email today that my grades are available on my 15 free CC order that was logged 9/28. I haven't checked the grades, I always wait til I get them in hand. This is the first order I am receiving in over a year, so I'm excited to finally get these. I did not receive any up-charge email, which I am surprised with the change in value since I shipped them 8 months ago. The best card in the sub is a really nice 1981 Topps Larry Bird that has really taken off. Just hope I did not get murdered on the grades.
Mine was 9/28 also and I did very well. I hope you got the same grader!
of course just realizing i still have express, regular and packs orders dating back to 2/09/21 that ARENT entered yet. 🤔
@blurryface d’oh hopefully soon. Seems like they are making a little progress but it seems like they pick one or two submission levels and focus on those for a day or two then pick something else for the next couple of days.
