We settle for a stinking field goal. The Broncos still lead 25-20.

I just want everyone to know that last night, there was an imposter in the booth with Cris Collinsworth. That man was not Al Michaels!

    The fake Al Michaels....

    The real Al Michaels....

I knew Double D would crack the case 👍👍 😂😂😂

Didn't matter who called the game. There was no let up for the Bills last night. Baltimore exposed the Steelers. Washington took advantage and the Bills made them pay for no running game, a QB that can't scramble and receivers with the drops. Josh Allen took a beating in the first half and it never rattled him. No panic, just feed Stefon Diggs in the 2nd half. They completely wore down the pass rush and all the hype about TJ Watt as he was a non factor. He was rarely double teams and a 2nd string right tackle took care of business. Pick 6 just before half turned the momentum, Buffalo's first defensive TD in 46 games. The D is coming together and I'd say they are starting to peak just about the right time. This team was built from the ground up 3 years ago. Beane and McDermitt did it the right way. No Band-Aids, no win at all costs now. Build a defense to be competitive and then build an offense to win. Congrads. For those fans with teams in the dumps, look at this model and take a lesson.

I missed a very important player in my above post about the Bills. Tuesday morning everyone is talking about Allen, Diggs and Johnson’s pick 6. All well deserved. But here’s a shout out to Daryl Johnson. Who? Daryl Johnson 28 years old former Panther as a few Bills were. He’s listed as a guard on the depth chart. He played right tackle last night against the #1 rated defensive end. In the first half they double teamed TJ. But Johnson did such an incredible job they left him alone and double teamed Williamson who wrecked havoc in the first half. Once they made this move Buffalo marched down the field twice and basically put the game away. TJ Watt stat line? 1 tackle, no sacks and 1 QB hurry. Here’s a morning coffee to the mountains in the middle. Well done Daryl, well done.

Pretty good game last night as the Chargers beat the Raiders in OT 30-27. Make room for Chucky, he needs his rest.

One of the best days of my sports watching career happened when the Raiders hired Jon Gruden.
Congrats to the Chargers excellent game they would have won it sooner if they had a decent field goal kicker.

I think the Broncos can beat the Bills but they'll have to play really well.
Broncos record is a little misleading as they've been playing some solid football lately.

It looks like @doubledragon’s Cats caught a break tonight. It’s not going to be 5 below zero in Green Bay. Looks like it’s going to be in the 20s.

Congratulations on the Bills FINALLY winning the AFC East. But that isn’t near enough. Impressive 4 game performance winning by 10, 10, 11 and 29. No let down game today.

Well the Bills game yesterday finally convinced me.
Josh Allen is the real deal. When the blowout was on in the second half I went on ebay and bought
3 Allen rookie cards. Was trying to decide between Allen and Herbert but the Bills have a much better
team than the Chargers and team success does matter with football rookie cards.

I'm feeling lazy today, I'm just sitting here chewing nicotine gum and watching two games. Dammit, the remote just fell off the couch and onto the floor. I don't want to move. I know, I'll wait until my wife walks by and ask her to get it. Yes, I know it's a diabolical plan.

I'm doing my Sunday regular, watching football and folding. It is my job to fold, particularly with my MIL in Brazil. Every Sunday, when I am done catching up, I tell myself I will keep up with it. And every Sunday , I am behind again. With three Rugrats in the house there should be a lot of laundry, but ......when I was a kid, my Mom encouraged me to reuse a towel twice, or to take my "sleepwear" and fold it in the morning, telling me I could re-wear it. Heck, in college I could make a towel last perpetually. But not these guys. Not these guys. Of course, when I tell my wife and kids that something is not dirty after one hour of use, they say I'm gross.

In the mean time, the Tampa team is off to another slow start in an important game. Terry Bradshaw commented that the Tampa team is yet to get properly mixed.

**IT’S WEEK 14. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE? **

Brady is very inconsistent with flashes of his old self with mostly missed opportunities. The coach also seems not to be on the “Brady page.” Whatever it is, perhaps they will make the play-offs for the first time on 13 years, but they will be one and done if they make the post season.

I'm just biding my time until the Chiefs game starts. Watching a little 49'ers- Cowboys game, seeing
what you guys are up to on this forum. I hate when the Chiefs play on late Sunday afternoon, would
    rather they play at noon.

I used to always enjoy when the Patriots played the second game or evening. Because if they lost, it ruined the rest of my day for watching. I wouldn't be in the mood.

I hear you, my wife thinks it's gross to reuse stuff also. If it were up to me, I could make a towel last for a month!

I still think there main problem is schematically and offensive "philosophy". Brady works on mechanics every off season. I expect him to improve next year - which I know sounds crazy to some.

Yes, I also listened to Terry Bradshaw's story of mixing paint as a child. 😂😂

The Tampa coach can’t light a fire under these guys. They come out flat week after week. Now they are down 7 - 24. This game is over. There won’t be any Brady miracles today.

They paid Brady a bundle to come there. If the coach can’t figure him out, it’s time for a new coach. He was given the tools this year, and the team has underperformed.

QBs historically struggle in their first year under Arians, with higher than usual interceptions. Brady is playing a scheme in many ways totally counter to his old one. Arians is under pressure, and at a minimum I expect the I expect Leftwich to be gone. Here's a wild idea, .... McDaniels to Tampa as oc? Probably not...but he works well with Brady and I'd love to get rid of him in NE.

It looks like Tampa will make it to the playoffs, but there is no hope in the first game if they try to sleepwalk through the first quarter, let alone the first half.

Don’t look now but the Bills are leaping into the #2 seed and the Browns have a chance to win the division. Who would have thought that 3 weeks ago when Pittsburgh was the #1 seed and undefeated. My Christmas wish is Buffalo takes care of their first home playoff game and Pittsburgh comes to town in the semi’s. Come on Santa. One time!

My goodness, Big Ben's first half stats last night against the two-win Bengals:

    7/16
    19 yds
    0 TD
    1 INT

The excuses flew the last 3 games. Covid, 3 games in 12 days, injuries etc. they had 7 days to prepare for a 2 win team they waxed at home by 30. It no secret Ben cannot throw the 10-12 yard out with any authority any longer. His first 2 were woefully short and soft and almost intercepted. The DB’s don’t respect his deep pass and are jumping the short routes. The Steelers have zero run game and the front four making easy tackles allow the LB’s to sit on short crossing routes. It’s all on Ben right now. The film speaks for itself. Maybe the elbow is breaking down but if they are one and done ( hope not) this spells the end of a first ballot HOFer.

any AFC team that is pitted against the Steelers in the playoffs should be licking their chops. they are a 6-8 team masquerading at 11-3. last night they got punked by a 2-win team with a backup QB who completed 7 passes for 89 yards.

i said after the Ravens game they may be the most fraudulent undefeated team at this stage of a season ever. why i didn't follow up and take teams outright against them is a mystery. sometimes you've gotta follow your gut and floor it

Back on our conversation about that Jets game I would have been infuriated had the Jets lost and I was counting my winnings waiting for the Steelers to beat Cincy. The fact that they lost is almost as absurd as the Rams laying down.
