They have as good a chance as anyone!

Yes, if they as well as they did today, they will win the division. Do you remember the first game of the season when the Eagles blew a big lead to them?

Of course, it will be a “one and out” for them in the playoffs.

Shame. Shame on my cats. We just allowed the Vikings to march right down the field and score. Shame on my cats!

I'm watching the Titans vs Colts game. It looks like this night turn into a good ol' fashioned slugfest.

  • doubledragondoubledragon Posts: 23,269 ✭✭✭✭✭

My cats scored are up 21-10 on the Vikings. We're up 21-10! My cats came to fight today!

The Titans are up big on the Colts right now, it's 35-14. All of my picks are going to trash. I'm trying to keep up with all of these scores, it's confusing!

The Titans skated to victory over the Colts today. They skated to it!

My cats were up 21-10 on the Vikings at one point in the 3rd quarter, and we still lost. I'm glad I picked the Vikings. 😂😂

I picked the Panthers. That blocked extra point was almost , sorta not off sides.

Well the Chiefs barely hung on to win. Costly fumble Mahomes had, almost cost them the game.
On the bright side nice to see the Raiders get completely blown out. Hope all their confidence is gone after that.

    Falcons - 43
    Raiders - 6

Counting sack 74 total passing yards in the Denver-New Orleans game. 12 for Denver.
Ugly and probably cost Vegas a new hotel.

So I bet a 7 team parlay and Ofcourse I bet against the Pats and it cost me a potential $800 win 👏

I honestly never bet, but if i did I don't think I'd bet against the Pats. Only because it would take away from the enjoyment for me.

I couldn’t bring myself to root for the Patriots but I saw upset a mile away. Arizona just isn’t that good. Hype up Murray and without the miracle they’ve lost 4 in a row. Unfortunately the miracle came against my Bills.

remains to be seen whether credit will be dispensed for seeing an upset a mile away when you chose Arizona in the super contest

Agreed. I stated it earlier the blue print for a Patriots win. But as a loyal bills fan I couldn’t sit in front of my TV and root for the Patriots. 🙁

Well they show up one week and disappear the next nowadays. It’s a coin flip regardless so it is what it is.

@perkdog I was torn between Arizona and New England. I really think the Patriots win this game. If their running game is even close to the game they played against Baltimore they win this game. And not only win it. They win it going away. They just can’t get down 2 scores early.

I know what you mean. I guess what I'm saying is I don't like the feeling of wanting my team to lose. Even when I expect them to, or think they are out of it, I still find myself hoping. It makes me think of all the conversations about tanking and draft position. I guess in a scenario where the last week of the season will decide between the 1st pick and 2nd , I see it.

@perkdog I hope what I said didn't come across the wrong way. I just reread it and thought it might have.

Perkdog- Actually I think 2deuces called that Falcons win. Because I remember reading his post and thinking
no way are the Falcons going to beat the Raiders. And then not only do the Falcons win, they slaughter them.
2deuces, I'm not making this up am I?

  • DarinDarin Posts: 7,080 ✭✭✭✭✭

Okay this is what 2deuces wrote. Looks to me like he was pretty spot on.

No one sees any upsets happening. That’s why they call them upsets. If the Patriots win it’s not really an upset as the game is basically a pickem. Arizona favored by 1. The Jets are going to win a game this year and tomorrow is as good as any time.
If the Bucs win its a mini upset but I think the best chances are Atlanta over the raiders and the Pats

A.J. Brown just injured his knee for the Titans. The Titans are losing 24-7 to the Browns right now. Any given freakin Sunday.

  • doubledragondoubledragon Posts: 23,269 ✭✭✭✭✭

Nope, now A.J. Brown is back in the game, apparently it was his foot and ankle area, but he's toughing it out.

  • doubledragondoubledragon Posts: 23,269 ✭✭✭✭✭

My Titans pick is going to garbage. They look like trash.

    The Titans today....

  • thisistheshowthisistheshow Posts: 9,386 ✭✭✭✭✭

Mayfield playing well in the first half.

The Browns look solid today. It's now 38-7 the Browns lead. It's over.

  • doubledragondoubledragon Posts: 23,269 ✭✭✭✭✭

I'm just disgusted with the Titans today. Just disgusted. They're losing 38-7 at the half. Pathetic.

    The freakin Titans today....

Well, the Titans finally got off their butts and tried to make a comeback, but came up short.

    Browns- 41
    Titans - 35

My goodness, the Eagles are just pitiful. I feel sorry for them.

  • doubledragondoubledragon Posts: 23,269 ✭✭✭✭✭

Carson Wentz has been benched, Jalen Hurtz is in at quarterback.

  • doubledragondoubledragon Posts: 23,269 ✭✭✭✭✭

Hurtz just threw a touchdown pass, the Eagles scored! They actually scored a touchdown! Hallelujah!

  • doubledragondoubledragon Posts: 23,269 ✭✭✭✭✭

The scene in Green Bay Wisconsin right now....

  • doubledragondoubledragon Posts: 23,269 ✭✭✭✭✭

A garbage possession by the Eagles. Green Bay gets the ball back.

  • doubledragondoubledragon Posts: 23,269 ✭✭✭✭✭

The Packers just got a 77 yard TD. This one is over. The Eagles had their chance, and they blew it!

Some pretty big games this weekend. This is how the Swami sees them.
KC at Miami. Gaskins is out with Covid. All 3 RB’s for Miami are now out. If Miami has to depend on Tua to win its another big win for KC trying for top seed and a bye.

Pittsburgh at Buffalo. Who shows up today? The Steelers who have drop 15 passes in the last 2 weeks or the previously undefeated Steelers. Buffalo can’t get top seed but can move 2 games ahead of Miami. Buffalo is for real and make Ben throw 50 times. Josh Allen makes his case for MVP with 300 yards and 3 TD’s two weeks in a row.

Baltimore at Cleveland. I have no idea. Baltimore’s playoff hopes could be dashed if Cleveland’s game last week wasn’t a fluke. I’m rooting for Cleveland but I still think the curse of the division haunts Cleveland. They can’t beat Baltimore or Pittsburgh. Ravens in a close on

This could be the do or die weekend for Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Bucks. The Vikings are a good team, but not among the elites. The Tampa pass defense has really let them down of late. If Cousins has a big day, it could be lights out after a lot of anticipation.

Looking forward to the games today, a lot of good matchups.
I'm with 2deuces I'll be rooting for Cleveland, I've never liked Baltimore and I would rather not
see the Ravens in the playoffs because Lamar could get hot and be very dangerous.

I'm watching the Panthers vs Broncos game. Christian McCaffrey is out yet again, this time with a thigh injury. This will be the 10th game he has missed this season due to injury. He really wanted to play against the Broncos today, the team his dad, Ed McCaffrey won two Super Bowls with.

  • doubledragondoubledragon Posts: 23,269 ✭✭✭✭✭

You know what, screw the Panthers game, the Bucs vs Vikings game is on Fox!

  • doubledragondoubledragon Posts: 23,269 ✭✭✭✭✭

The Vikings are trying to establish ye olde running game.

  • BillJonesBillJones Posts: 33,984 ✭✭✭✭✭

Brady looks like he’s really over the hill. He can’t get the ball to wide open receivers with his over throws. He was doing that at the end of the season in New England. This is week 13. The “We didn’t have a pre-season” excuse doesn’t cut it.

I smell a blow out coming. The Buck’s defense has been on the field for too long.

Oh well, 14 years without a play-off appearance.
