Option 1: we're going to make them at Carson City, but with only 1 "C" NOT "CC"...just because we want to mess with you!

Option 2: a 2-headed coin...Morgan on one side and Peace woman on the other!

    Well...8:30 came and went...

Why am I thinking that somebody at the Mint started their Christmas vacation today...nothing more mysterious than that!

How did that work out for ya??

  • jessewvujessewvu Posts: 5,065 ✭✭✭✭✭

I went out in a blaze of glory. I found that it takes between 15 and 20 refreshes in less than 10 seconds to get rate limited banned.

    You maniac, you!

But seriously, that rate has decreased...I was banned after something like 5 total refreshes on Day 1!

Well guys, it was a great morning hanging out with you all for the last hour and a half looking for the great flip. But I need to head out and do life. Carry on...

I'm rather surprised at the silver medals. They dropped 30 even though they sold a bunch. Amateur flippers, I guess. I bought 11 two weeks ago and sold them to a major retailer for $110 each last week. So who is returning them?

  • RichRRichR Posts: 3,860 ✭✭✭✭✭

So [essentially] the same number of AGE's are available as last week? And we believe these BS stats?

Really?? Does anyone actually have a life outside this forum? It must be nice to wake up as early as you want daily (including weekends) to search for the Holy Grail and not have to work for a living. Maybe in my next life.....

Ouch. I have a real job and also have 136 hours of use or lose. Time management is key! I am also teleworking so opening up a new webpage for what is usually 10 minutes isn’t causing any problems.

  • RichRRichR Posts: 3,860 ✭✭✭✭✭

So...as far as we know...no system refresh today...?

Chill out buddy! I am in 40s with full time job. Although I don’t wake up every morning to hunt like those guys, I am enjoying reading this forum. Let them do whatever they want. After all , someone in this forum did grab a Holy Grail by doing that! Life is short .. let’s just enjoy it!

Strange that nothing was available even mayflowers. Makes me think they are back to offering these at a different time maybe.

  • no AGE today for sure

I'm mostly working from home since classes ended. Before that, 3 days per week I had an 8:00 a.m. class. But that left me free at 7:30 to hunt for 10 minutes.

I actually have two jobs. I do have freedom to structure my day.

Maybe you could take a workshop on time management or anger management. :)

That is why I did not want to go with the V75 label. I want all the information on the front like a normal layout.

they should have a quadruple one to add the two other wwII commems, the 1/2 oz. gold coin and silver medal, to the display!

Have you seen the double holders? Neat idea but makes for a large all in one. Too bad the cert numbers aren't consecutive.

    I like the double holder.

Does anyone else think it odd that they chose not to put the privy mark on the front?

I chose NGC V75 Label for both of mine, looks much better than PCGS V75 label in my opinion.

But that says a lot and means a lot at the time it is said.
