My new purchases this week are courtesy of the United States Mint, namely the uncirculated and proof issues of the Purple Heart Haul of Honor, half dollars and silver dollars. I did also pickup a 1935P Walking Liberty Half Dollar.
Latest pickup - NGC AU details obverse repaired. The repair isn’t obnoxious, and there seems to be an awful lot of detail for an AU. Can’t wait to see it in hand
I am not sure if Shaun Bobb visits this forum but just picked up this coin from him over the weekend. Mike's Coin Chest has amazing coins. I had to have this one the second I saw it.
bought this one by "mistake" dealer sent the wrong coin, contacted him about getting the wrong coin, then ended up buying the "mistake" as well (he gave me a VERY nice price for being honest and I really liked the coin)
The coin i bought was a nicely toned 1854 arrows HD (Half dime)
What was sent was this coin an 1854 arrows HD (half dollar)
I'm happy cause my 7070 needed both
Some pickups from my first ever coin show (I went yesterday):
My first gold (best price I found: $215!):
My first capped bust half (and my first capped bust coin only $75!):
My first Kook (that's what the dealer called them )
My first flying eagle cent with a date:
You can everything else I grabbed in the group photo:
An "unopened" roll of 1956-D Lincoln wheat cents (in tin foil to keep them from toning), a nice BU 1909 VDB
a, nice BU Steelie, a 1912-D V-nickel (which the dealer gave to me for free when I purchased the VDB), 2 nicely toned Roosies, an 1837 half dime (my first half dime) and pair of older walkers and a nice Merc.

1877-S FS-301 C-21 RPD/RPM PCGS MS62. Rare in mint state. Typical grade is XF. Only know of a single higher graded specimen (PCGS MS64). The final 7 in the date is strongly repunched. The S mint mark is also repunched. The only pairing of either die.
Cool @ZoidMeister I like that set.
Well after all this time I finally have a new pickup.Quite lucky as this is a rare dealer merchant token in silver. and for a fraction of its value. Although I do not see anything marked as far as what metal it is but as I understand its silver.
It does have some shmutz on the reverse with is part toning and part dirt. I guess a soak in acetone is called for.
.
And I will quote @Broadstruck .....his description.
Earl Schill Rare Coin Dealer from Detroit Michigan Store Card struck on a silver planchet. In silver this is only
the second example I've even seen and far betters the other which was circulated and stained.
A vague facsimile of Augustus Saint-Gaudens $10 Indian and approximately the same diameter with a
phoenix instead of eagle as his shop also sold Native American artifacts.
Dated 1962-S with a mint mark as a nice design addition. Earl Schill's provenance at times appears within
auction descriptions of major early silver and gold coinage. He was a contributor to the first and following editions of the
Redbook and also involved with the distribution of Early Commemoratives.ECI ANS

It is quite proof like as I tried to show in the image below but, came out a tad blurry.

Casually wanted one of these for years, since @MadMarty posted them on here. Forgot about it, but decided to get one finally. People price them all over the place. I got it pretty cheap, for what I consider a basic handling charge. (Doubt I can safely remove that latent fingerprint. But it is just a fun piece and hardly for investment.)

Ummm, I have tried on lesser copper nickel coins a 1:1 ammonia solution and then liberal rinsing with water and tamp dry with the clean white high nap towel.
