Went to a coin show today and got this (among others) for $45

Another nice one I couldn't pass up the other day, looks to me like a low AU with some remaining mint color!

I see it now
BTW, you should also say that it fits in your Mint State sets,
Congrats on #2
Slow down, I can't keep up
Thanks. I’ll always think of my Circulated Type sets as my main sets since I started on them first. Since I’m mainly still buying AU’s I expect to fall down pretty far in the Mint State sets after another year or two when others start adding MS64s, but I’ll enjoy the #2 rankings in the meantime.
Awful pictures I know...head tells me it's a 50, heart says 55, so I guess I settle at 53. Submitting soon so will know eventually and get good TVs then!
I just got this coin today in the mail. I purchased it at the June14th Heritage Auction.
It is a brilliant white coin with NO spots, no haze or toning. Looks like it came off the presses yesterday.
VERY pleased with Heritage on this one!
This is the FS-101 DDO Right Stars. The obverse was paired with three different reverses. for this pairing (C-14 in my catalogue), this is the only UNC known to me. The other couple seen have been AU. Because of a small crack in the slab, I will probably go through the arduous task of crossing it to PCGS and getting the CAC sticker back.
I took a chance on one from ebay.
Here are the seller's photos:
Mine are washed-out, but you can see some of the details.
1797 Cohen-1 (misplaced 1 over first 1 in date)
struck over a Talbot, Allum & Lee cent token
What looks like edge damage on the reverse is actually part of the undertype "& LEE"
Probably too much environmental damage to slab it, but I'm pleased so far.
Simple regular crossover in holder. Should cross. Will lose the sticker but can get it back. The holder isn't broken.
Interesting, I would think it would be safer to cross at grade only
Your choice Good luck
Definitely at grade. That goes without saying. It should make 64 in hand, even without noting the CAC sticker. I thought you were asking if I was sending for crossover or cracking it out and sending raw.
Just recieved this one in the mail, a recent purchase from @paesan, I love it!

Last summer I got the same coin in 64, I did some research and found that the no motto versus the motto in 64 at PCGS was like 70 to 1 or roundabouts.
It’s a very scarce coin comparatively. For the money, it’s a good buy in my opinion.
Here’s mine from last year. It’s my favorite Saint.

Nice. Great looking coin. I picked this up on the bst forum. Just arrived today. Its a nice set.
VERY nice! Love the green on green, too.
Eventually I will have to cave and get a no motto to go with mine, and a four with a CAC would really match nicely.

Nice S mint gold. Congratulations.
The black spot below the "E" in "WE" bugs the heck out of me.
One of the reasons that I don't like the red designation on copper coins.
