This is an ugly coin, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Anyway I have always wanted this coin from my variety registry set.

It is a 1943-S "Goiter" Quarter.

    Nothing “ugly” about this coin.
    I like it. :)

Yeah I like that one too. Such a strange die anomaly that is rarely seen to this degree. Nice Grade too!

I am a budget collector, so this was a sizable purchase for me:

    But I love it!!! B)

Awesome- I think that’s super cool congratulations!
I don’t have any ancients but I’ve been thinking about it

I have been dabbling in ancients a little. They seem to be taking off. My bids today at Heritage were all blown out.

I've been focusing a lot on my mirror proof set registry lately, here's two that I bought recently:
1967 SP66RB - pop 38/27 (still debating whether I should keep it or try to find a higher rated one)
    1981 S PR66RB - pop 2/12

The ‘67 looks like a beauty- keep it!

Congratulations on the 67 SMS cent! I actually bid on that one as well. Really nice color.
