Well, i finally bought something that I really have no idea why I bought it . . . other than it being a quintessential "exonumia" piece, and I had to have it.

It's not in my hands yet, but I do have the sellers photos.

    Yeah, it's a Daniel Carr piece . . . .

Only Dan Carr aficionados will "get it" I fear . . . .

Are we supposed to guess what you bought?

Cool feeder Zoid! I see those every once in a while. Never pulled the trigger on one though.

I've gotta think, with these being about 1/8" thick stainless steel, that the creation of these imprints is pretty hard on the dies . . . . . .

Not a fan of red copper but, OH MY!
That coin had to set back north of a $100, and it is a beauty!

Not a fan of red copper, but your example seems not to have that much red that is doesn't turn me off, in fact it looks like I have to take a second and third look.
FE/Indians use to be my series, had my Dansco filled to the brim with AU-MS including the 1877, 1856 was always in my dreams and always will be.

Exactly how do you use that to clean your coins?

We got a puppy... It's mainly used to clean carpets for hopefully only the next month or two :(

Dang... my wife be all over that!

Bought her an opal ring when we went to Sydney for our honeymoon in 2000. Opals have a unique beauty!
