Years ago I, in a futile effort to interest my daughter in collecting, I asked her which commemorative design she liked best. She told me that she liked the Arkansas commemorative the best, so, even though I know she will be very unlikely to ever have a coin collecting bug, since then I have tended to look for Arkansas commemoratives. And I just found this one--MS 66+, CAC. I wish it were slightly more toned, but that's tough with this design. Anyway, the coin is nice and this thread exists ... so here it is:
Someday I’ll learn how to take decent pictures, till then.
Members I have done business with: Silverman68, jfoot13, GAB, ricman, Smittys, scrapman1077, RyGuy, Connecticoin, Meltdown, VikingDude, Peaceman, Patches and more.
Just picked this up for a $. Has anyone ever seen these? It suppose to be a series of 5 coins. I believe this one is the first to come out? Is it real money in Australia? Good history lesson. Thanks

1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition So-Called Dollar - HK-404a
This is a new So-Called Dollar for my lowball collection. It looks to have nice, even honest wear. It would be great to have PCGS certify it as a PO01. The obverse looks like a PO01 but I'm not sure about the reverse.

My 84 P in MS67
Thanks! I actually tried the 80-D again as I (and the person who sold it to me) thought it should be a 67 (or at least a 66+). I like the looks of yours - so clean!
My Kennedys have almost all come from collector friends.

1887 Grover & Mrs. Cleveland Presidential Tour Medal - 25.5mm - George Bache Soley - DeWitt GC-1888-12 - NGC MS66
This seems to be a somewhat rare medal from what's available online. I've only traced 3 specimens in MS and about that many in circulated condition.
The Liberty Bell seems to be a play on words for "Favorite Belle" who was Frances Cleveland, our nation's youngest First Lady who married the President in his first term. The Liberty Bell motif is used from other 1887 medals which featured the bell for the US Constitution centennial.
Finally had the means to add this to my F-VF Indian collection. With this addition I'll only need 2 more to fill the Harris folder ('68 & '71) and 3 more when I move it to a Dansco ('68, 69/69 & '71.)
"Nike" for the 100 Greatest Women on Coins. Waiting on about 35 coins for the set, still in grading limbo. My set is soon to be full except for all the First Spouse gold coins. Currently the set is #2.
Here are a few that arrived today. I am really excited about these and their maker. Some may feel these fall more under the "bullion" label, but as original minted creations by a noted die sinker, I couldn't resist.
