Been a while since I bought anything. 1869 MS-65 3 cent nickel. Love these early obsolete denotations. Really have to work on my photography though. Coin is really clean with no contact marks visible.

American Numismatic Society - Membership Medal - Silver - Ex-Norweb, Jewell
I picked up what I thought was the nicer of two Norweb-Jewell specimens. I wasn't thinking too clearly at the time or I would have picked up both as there were two prominent Norwebs (actually 3 if you consider their son).
wow - that reverse is beautiful! where'd you pick em up? haven't seen these yet
That's what caught my eye too.
It was written up in today's Coin World, page 20, attached. Ordered from https://www.modernmedallics.com/. Very affordable.
I have opened my collecting to unusual and beautiful, to me, coins from other countries. Some are minted as money makers to these countries which I don't mind if I like the design. This is my first order from this dealer. I see a couple more that I may end up ordering.
I still get the standard US issues and some of the commeratives if I can. The mint can be tricky to get an order through. I think everyone here knows what I'm talking about.
@Kudbegud appreciate you - thanks for the heads up! I too like beautiful designs whether they be for circulation, commems, medals, etc - good design is good design
@Kudbegud picked up the last 3 on offer from a site in san marino - abt $26/ea inc intl shipping - a couple to hand out as good luck coins for 2021 - thx again for heads up

It's funny you should mention that. I too, am expecting a coin ( PF.65 1940 reverse of the 1938 pf. Jefferson ) anyday now by UPS.
Hopefully, it arrives before the NEW YEAR?
I'm expecting it by Thursday.
Fingers crossed for the both of us!

1907 ANA Triennial Convention Thomas Lindsay Elder Christopher Columbus Store Card - DeLorey-9 - NGC MS66PL POP 1/1/0
A Triennial Convention is one that that meets once in every 3 years.
This seems pretty rare with just one more at NGC MS65PL in the NGC census.
Picked this up in yesterday's Stacks/Bowers auction.

Been buying some USGTC
Thanks, looking forward to getting it....will probably be after the first of the year based on other mail deliveries I've had this month.
Still, the USPS is doing a job that I wouldn't wish on anyone this time of year.
Stunning!
That’s a beauty 1817! Just picked up this half.

Great looking piece!
Why is exclusively in quotes?
I found several of these with my metal detector over the years,
I was thinking it wasn't released on Dan's page. It was a commissioned piece.
The CMG stuff used to be on the Treasure Cobs production blog - both this new piece and the older Halloween strikes.
The S.S Republic is still on that page, but the CMG stuff is missing . . . . .

I found a thread on the forum from March 18, 2007 concerning this oddity.
