Yesterday I pulled the trigger on a 1966 Red Seal $100 note. I’ve been wanting one for a while and found an example that really talked to me!
Hopefully I will have it within a week and will post it here when it arrives.
I received these Coin World Newspaper Medals in the mail today. With these 7 Bronze medals I will be able to complete my 2nd complete bronze set. With the 7 Silver medals, I'm missing just the Denver Medal to complete the set. Now the search begins for the Denver Silver medal.

This coin exhibits beautiful tones and is just as gorgeous in hand. My love for old gold falls just shy of my love for the significance of this purchase. From a collector who has an eye for the most beautiful Buffalo nickels, this coin is a testament to his equally attractive gold coinage. It’s a coin I am honored to add to my collection.
Thank you Joe!

I had seen it before and probably had not bought because it, frankly, is not rare as a variety (1798 BB-96/B-6 knob 9). But the cracked planchet was just too alluring. Perhaps paid too much for it, but got some relative bargains on truly rare coins in January.
2001 that I plan on converting to a pickup truck using a Smyth kit.

Picked up this neat coin. Not only is it a micro s variant, but it's also a ddr.

It's a very nice coin, I like it! But I think that is a lot of machine doubling, not a DDR.

I have been on the lookout for a nice 1865-S Seated half for years. Finally found one - PCGS XF45
Recent arrival from GC but had to play the “remove from another registry set” game but it is now in my registry set inventory.
