I bought my first piece of platinum. Just gonna sell the (very nice braided screw top) bezel and enjoy a cheap coin.
I'm guessing it's gonna end up a super dinged piece bc the photos sucked with no reverse pic, purchased from an estate type ebayer. But I've been pleasantly surprised before.
I see the rim is protected. I wanna believe the piece has a clear covering over the front and back. It appears taken care of.
If not that's ok, I'm fine with this being my first piece of platinum. The more I look at it, the more I wanna just wear it, too.

Just picked up this 1939 Jefferson proof (reverse of 38) in PR-66. Now I can finally complete my 36-42 Jefferson proof registry set.
Your quarter and Walker are super nice, too! Looking very good. An attractive set for sure. The 25c has "that look" of quarters I started on when I was a kid. How cool.

1949 restrike of the 1898-Mo Peso, minted by the US and Mexico for the Kuomintang to pay their army in the final days of the Chinese Civil War given massive inflation of the local paper currency. Most of the issue never made it given the departure of the Republic forces to Taiwan later that same year, many were sold as bullion or melted. PCGS MS64+.
I just picked these ones up at my post office box. These are the auction pictures. I probably overpaid for the steel Lincoln, but not as badly as several ones that sold recently without the + so I’m happy with it. I really like the dime a lot too 🌞
Bought today. I might crack out to send in? It needs a grade and better home, PCGS. I don't think it is a problem coin? No mention by ANACS? Whatcha guys think? Thanks

This is the Noe-16 variety, minted ca. 1675-1682 when the Crown finally put the colonials and their mint out of business. One of the first streaks of independent thought and a disconnect from the so-called "Mother Country"

I have not been buying much. I finally got an Oregon Trail commemorative for my 7070. This was removed from an NGC MS-64 holder.

On the recommendation from a couple forum members I picked this up yesterday. Hopefully have it this weekend.
@bagofnickels that's a good one. I have a copy as well.

Don't we all wish that we could post this one?
