Actually the funny part is when he finds out his wife is a Lesbian. The brothers were just a set up to that end. No empathizing needed. They call it Humor. If you don't think the joke is funny that is fine. The need to find it offensive is what baffles me. Life is short and there are plenty of things to be offended by if you search for them. A silly attempt at humor with no malice intended is not one of them. IMHO.
I am not trying to tell you what to think. Just trying to point out how I and at least some other people felt about the JOKE. This whole thread came out of a need to smile and laugh once in a while. I hope it provided that for you at times. It has for me. Off of my soapbox.
