I was stationed at the Navy base in Millington tn in 1976, assigned to advanced Avionics school. We had a bad ice storm one night and the next morning while walking through the parking lot, a classmate saw he car and noticed that the locking gas flap was frozen shut. He decided to try and open the lock and not wait for the sun to thaw it out. He reached into his pocket, pulled out his zippo lighter and started to unfreeze the lock with the lit zippo. We all ran for the hills as this genius attempted to unknowingly blow up his car. Murphy's law prevailed as he burnt his hand before the gas fumes ignited. We decided that he needed supervision to get to class and we were not going to volunteer.

I wanted to get a jump on Christmas shopping yesterday.
I went to the toy store and asked the assistant where the Arnold Schwarzenegger dolls are and he replied, “Aisle B, back.”
That reminds me when I was young working in a service station, fuel was at 50 cents per gal.
Two of us were pumping off the same unit. Smoke started pouring out of the pump.
We both ran across the street leaving the hoses in the cars and the customers right behind us making our escape.
A few seconds went by we both looked at each other and my co-worker say's "maybe we should turn off the electric"
DA !

@Steven59 My uncle's fence was for horse and not security, so it was a smaller jolt. I might still not be the sharpest tool in shed today.
