A solid Yankees starter. Certainly not the best ever but spent a chunk of his career in the Bronx and helped anchor a WS winning rotation so may have his number retired. His case for the Hall is borderline but the aforementioned was enough for me to take the plunge...

Dan, you know it can be hard to talk glowingly about Yankees and still be objective for me so I try to understate it a bit.
(I think he’s a lock, myself).

Couldn't pass this one up of the 2021 HOFer, the front is stunning with just the tiniest hint of color bleed at the tips of the top perforation. A spot of paper loss on the bottom of the back kept the technical grade down ...
Hoping this doesn't drag me in, but may have to do a 1-8 run of these at least.

The centering looks great,Is that one considered his rookie card?

Yes, sir, for those of us who don't follow the "Beckett rules of RCs" (then it's the 2001 Upper Deck). There's one other 1996 issue that PSA grades, but it's supersize. Centering has to be perfect/very near perfect to not have yellow/gold from the adjacent cards showing and this one looks nicer than my 7.

I know what you mean on the yellow/gold shining thru, the 95 MJ is the same color/style as the Tiger and many times has the yellow along the top border.
Was the other 96 Tiger you mentioned his Masters card with the black finish?

1996 Niketown was the one I'm referring to and am about to blow up the pop on. There's also a 1996 Nike mini poster that Beckett grades (#5770 Sand), pretty sure the one they grade is cardstock and I've only got a slick of that so far. His first Masters win wasn't until 1997, I'm trying to picture what card you're referring to.

Chads qty and shape look pretty good on that one.
That card scares me a bit after I read some of the info on BO a few months back. Amazing what can be reproduced on those cards.
I haven't been buying much the last month or so. Some of these were bought last month . I just receivied the 1969 Clemente yesterday. With the addition of the 1970 Stargell, my 1970 HOF set is complete. I need 1 card to complete my 1970 All Star set. The 1963 Fleer cards are all upgrades. The 1969 Clemente is a new addition to the collection.
For those who don't follow the 2020 Heritage thread, I pulled a Greinke superfractor 1/1 and promptly sold it. Picked up the following cards with part of the proceeds.
First off, I'm thrilled to add this Yaz, which upgrades the PSA 8 I had:
Another 2 point upgrade for another master set:
Hannah was in the nationally-distributed All Star set and the regionally-distributed Patriots set, each of which came in 4 colors. With this card, I now have all 4 colors of his Patriots card in PSA 10. For the All Stars, I have one PSA 8 I still want to upgrade, then I'll be done with his complete McDonald's run.
Lastly, a rough (but really cheap) HOFer for my 68 Venz set:
Better late than never. This card just continues to trump all. I don't think there's been a more iconic Topps flagship rookie card that has come along since the 2011 Trout Update. This card has everything going for it.

Thank you Uncle Rick for misspelling his last name in the listing and allowing me to pick this up at a huge discount ...
That is one sweet card! Thank goodness for spelling problems. It's good to see that Uncle Rick is giving out family discounts to his favorite nephew. If Uncle Rick lists any Joe Louis cards, I just hope he spells Louis as Lewis.😂
I also occasionally will sub some of my hoop stuff. Not really into hoop but bust boxes now and then.
Happy overall with these. All are Pop 1 ( had to create new specs as they were first groups subbed)
All of course being Hall of Famers ( Carter will be). You'd be surprised how many people collect the woman players

I wish I had the cash to get one. I am glad I got a bowman chrome before at the beginning of last year. hopefully we will get to watch him play this year with all of the corona virus cases right now baseball is not going to have a season right now.

Nice pickup !! Great time to buy-- certainly not the time I'd list my golf cards. I'm sitting on all my slabbed base, autos, and game used golf until they start playing again. You reminded me I have to scan my recent slabbed golf stuff.
I had to have a '69 Bench in a PSA-9 after my SGC-96 did not cross. Also...I could not resist this '71 Bench PSA-8.5. I just purchased these two cards today.
