I'm not usually a huge fan of the Franklin Mint strikes, but they really knocked it out of the park with these proof like Token And Medal Society strikes. The fields are insanely mirrored. Impeccable designs all around. @coinsarefun , I thought you might appreciate these.
I just had to pick up this Silver 1963 Harrisburg Coin Club medal. It has insanely blue toning and the mirror proof field looks like infinitely deep pools.
Wow, I cannot believe that I missed posting Daniel Carr's first Coin Club medals for 2021 in THIS thread. I guess I am losing . . . . . never mind, they tell me that I cannot "lose" what I never had in the first place . . . .
Anyway, on to refreshing this thread, and to my most recent DC numismatic medal arrivals . . . . .

I like that one a lot @ZoidMeister ! I saw a Cincinnati medal with a different reverse but passed because
It didn’t look like the Morgan was engraved nicely but I can see I messed up and should have gotten it.
The 1963 Silver New Hampshire Numismatic Association 5th Convention medal.
I don't know who struck these, but the detail in the dies is amazing. The after strike "antiquing" really gives this a "circulated cameo" appearance. It comes in at 18.9 grams, 35mm of .999 silver.
The design of this CSNA semi-annual convention medal is quite fetching.
I had to pick it up. Does anyone know what this reverse design is based upon? Or is it unique to this piece?
I see the faces from the reverse of a Mercury Dime in the background. The little rocketship soaring to the stars at the base is intriguing as well. I think I've seen a design similar, but I just can't put my finger on it - maybe on some old banknotes?

A third installment of coin club medals donated by Bob Johnson. Tonight there are only 10 which leaves 11 more regular size club medals and 4 smaller diameter club metals and 3 or 4 mint medals. I hope everyone is enjoying the images so far and I might add so far the Cupertino Coin Club Medal designs steal the show....for me. But I'm partial to CNSA Medals.

Very exciting to both see all these medals and associate them with the Bob Johnson provenance! Is this the Bob Johnson of Centsles?
I like all the medals, and while I really enjoy the changing themes and art of the CSNA medals, I do wish their club medal die was a bit more artistic, such as the PCNS die.

Probably not the same Bob. Last time I corresponded with Centsles Bob, he lived in St. Cloud, FL.
It looks like I am finished imaging all of Bob Johnson Coin Club Medals The last 4 are slightly smaller in diameter an quite nice.
It appears I have 44 imaged and a few that I need to figure out what to do with. Right now they are all airing out on my desk as the vinyl coin book did some damage to a few and some nice toning on others. The medals feels almost "slick" for the lack of better word to use. I'll look into the best way to preserve these medals as I have already ordered two wooden boxes that will hold each one in a capsule. I hope everyone has enjoyed this venture as much as I have and again thanks to Bob Johnson for his gracious donation to me.. I'll make another post with all of them together with the mintages and any other info I can find on them.
Maui Coin Club (MCC) based on the island of Maui in the State of Hawaii. MCC suspended club meetings since 1981 and have been inactive since then.
The 1977 MCC Kennedy profile medal was issued in bronze/silver set with a mintage of 80. Also, only 27 aluminum Kennedy profile medals struck. The aluminum medal were normally given out as awards at their annual coin show or incentives to dealers/sponsors of the show or the MCC itself.

Received this one over the weekend. I'm having difficulty finding significant information on it.
The "obverse" has a reproduction of the 1792 French Diplomatic Medal engraved by Augustin Dupre.
https://www.si.edu/object/diplomatic-medal-france-1792-paris-mint:nmah_1097464
https://americanhistory.si.edu/collections/search/object/nmah_1097464
The "reverse" has the inscription commemorating the ANA's 100th Anniversary.
It says, "With Compliments of the French Mint" so I am guessing this was minted by the Paris Mint and given to ANA dignitaries during the 1991 ANA Convention in Chicago?
Has anyone seen one of these in the past? Appreciate any and all information on it.
Thanks in advance.
