So about a week ago, I posted that I got my first full box in a long time. Interesting, many rolls were not complete with US quarters. 1 roll had only 39 coins, another actually had 1 nickel and 4 others had the Foreign Coins shown in the photo. Interesting coins but I wonder how one box could have so many voids? This box was from the BofA and not customer rerolls.
Nice foreign coins though. Someone else on here also stated quite a few of his quarter rolls were short also you would think they would have some system of measurement regarding the weight of the box
I hit 15 different banks and antique stores on a road trip Friday for a complete bust. Everything was picked over high and low should’ve just stayed local. Although Dairy Queen was better out in the country 😉
I did find this PL Kennedy in my own stash earlier in the week.

Fun find!
First one of this particular variety of the Wyoming DDR’s that I’ve found. It’s listed as an honorable mention in the new CPG that just came out in August.
1943 wheat pennies from customer wrapped, labelled coin rolls deposited by someone at my bank.. I was surprised to get them from my bank, totally by chance. Most without a mint mark, and a very few D and S pennies. I selected one of each for my coin book. What do I do with the rest? I am a newbie coin roll hunter about one year in. I hate to dump them back in circulation, you know? Thought about sharing with fellow coin collectors if coins are worthy of sharing.. I will post more photos of other wheat pennies from this treasure trove. Some of these look in pretty bad shape, but this unknown coin collector kept them for some reason. Any input is appreciated to help me learn about what to keep, share, sell, dump?
Very attractive coins with very attractive photography!
Thanks bud, those are a few keepers I found culling through my early stuff, 2018 😂 I was kind of surprised that first 68 might be good enough. More boxes to cull this weekend.

Hello @pextrom and thanks for sharing. I would check all of the 43's to be steel and not copper. Then check all of the 69s for missing initials on the reverse side of them. And then keep any that look very shiny and don't have cuts scrapes or spots.
Keep the best 3 or 4 dump the rest repeat. echo effect repeat echo effect repeat echo effect repeat echo repeat ech....
Well they are rusted and kinda crappy so toss a few in lemon juice and some in 5% white vinegar and see which solution removes the most rust after a few days. The rest I would put back into circulation and hope a kid finds them and gets interested in numismatics.
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
Anything special about 1965 (no mint mark) pennies? I got one whole roll of them, too. I appreciate all of your comments about what to save or dump back in circulation. None of the 43s were copper, all stuck to magnet. All of the 1969D pennies had initials, attached roofs, scratches and spots. I am totally new at taking photos of coins, so bare with me please.
I just finished CRH with a box of quarters and found 2-2019 W quarter's (TX & River of no Return - UT). They are in pretty good condition for over 4 years of circulation. They have finally found their forever home today. Also these are the 1st 2 that i have found in 2023. I have found 35 in February od 2021. (The pandemic forced the banks in my area to close all their lobbies and I was unable to get any rolls of coins until early 2022.)

I haven’t been looking for those since then. They had to be sent in before a certain time in order to get the early find cert. Unless you find some more fresh rolls these will come 63/64 at best which, is not enough to get me excited. Didn’t Joey get a 67?

Sent it in because it made me unexpectedly emotional when I found it.

Those look like they’re mostly New Orleans mint
I haven't kept as close track as you...or @joeykoins but I'm at around 75 of them or so

I haven’t been looking for those since then. They had to be sent in before a certain time in order to get the early find cert. Unless you find some more fresh rolls these will come 63/64 at best which, is not enough to get me excited. Didn’t Joey get a 67?
I sent in only the very first V75 I found when we started looking for those. It got an MS65.
Sent it in because it made me unexpectedly emotional when I found it.
Got me thinking about my Grandpa who got his Purple Heart seeing some serious up close action on Omaha Beach.
I am now the caretaker of his Purple Heart

You can really start seeing the toll circulation is having on these. I'm sure there are still many unopened bank rolls floating around out there.

That’s pretty awesome!

Lol.
Yes, I did, twice!
First One, 2020W Tallgrass Prairie
Second One, 2020W Rockefeller.
Thanks, for mentioning it. Those ones you've found, are still awesome! Regardless of the grades.

Cool find and those numbers are not good. You're searching fed though correct? Or have those been better..
