I got one by the skin of my teeth...entered credit card data multiple times as auto fill was lagging, and hit the "oops" refresh several times. Never encountered a hot mess like that....I think mine went through just before they sold out.
I received confirmation on the 12:03 pm order but not the 12:13 pm order. Does this mean that they over sold and that those at the 12:13 pm mark and after are prone to have orders cancelled?

Everyone that has one in your cart remember they will probably go on sale every morning. Be ready.
they may or they may not. The way the Pd coins dribbled out was unusual. A lot of times they are just unavailable for a few weeks and you get one big grouping, then unavailable for a few weeks.

I want to personally thank all of you who signed up for 2 zillion accounts and managed to get 500 or more coins ordered successfully so you can sell them to the jerk on TV so he can resell them to the unknowing folks for thousands of dollars while the rest of us have to put up with crashing websites trying to order just one.
Now some of you are going to say aww, you didn't get your order through, and I'm going to say yes I did not get my order through no matter how hard I tried and yes I was prepared I was logged in before the start of the hour and it crashed straight upon the hour but I did manage to get finally to the page and I pressed add to bag and nothing happened again I pressed ad to bag and again nothing happened and no girls and boys this is not my first rodeo but I thought those days had ended a while back when websites like this did not have the ability to handle this kind of traffic.
If there is a God may all of you with multiple accounts buying to flip on eBay or for your TV host are struck by lightning this evening.
No luck.... was at work, so tried the phone ....finally got through....none available...but promised if they get more to email me.....Yeah, right....Cheers, RickO

Had to put mine in 4 times. Finally got to the confirm order after 20 min. and at least 30 refresh messages. Then...
"Invalid item in bag, please remove." Take a guess what item I couldn't get.
Congrats to the winners. Three folks here got one. One sold already for $1000. At the show, one of our guys walked into the Mint room - no line and got ticket #495/500! He is having it slabbed and holding out for $1200.
Better Luck to everyone next time! Gotta admit it was both fun and frustrating.
Were these tickets only for dealers? I wonder how many in line got nothing. Any idea?
The tickets were for anyone who wanted one, not just dealers
Using my laptop I got one in the cart after a few minutes, and then nothing but Oops or Error pages. Was starting to give up about 9:14, and then I see the checkout screen finally starting to load on my phone, and in a frenzy was able to secure a confirmed order on that device.
$250 was the cheapest I saw. I think most sales under $500 are going to get canceled. Half (more?) of those people didn't end up getting them and with the current price at $600-$1000...

In fairness there was a one coin limit for a reason. Any way no sour grapes here as it appears I was successful.

I have a friend who had 12 different people with 12 different addresses on 12 different computers trying to buy them to sell to me. That also violates the spirit of the HHL. But it also obeys the letter of the law.
Frankly, my 3 different accounts also OBEYS THE HOUSEHOLD LIMIT because they are shipping to 3 different households.
But regardless of how you feel about that, hoping for a lightning strike is excessive.
Congress to have hearings on U.S. Mint irregularities, right after they get through this inquiry thingy they got going on....
What you really thought that this would not happen?

I don't believe there's a Santa Claus at that Mint. I think it was pure luck and maybe a little bit of tenacity maneuvering thru that mine field of a website at noon. Why, it reminded me of the first website I ever developed at my job.

I'm assuming that some of the first day label coins will hit ebay tomorrow. Will be fun to watch.
I could have gotten to Balto just in time - w my wife - to get a couple and have them slabbed there had I left just after my online order was placed. Never thought that they'd be handing out tickets at 14:00. Ugh.

That was quite a 13 minute ride. Same deal as everyone else with reloading the "oops" page a dozen times. Finally made it through at 12:13pm. I was logged in at 11:45 but that didn't help. USM07225xxx order so I made it by a couple minutes. I only tried for one. I guess I was just lucky this time. I was tempted to try and sign in again but held off.
I tried but I struck out. I wasn’t about to waste my time and energy on one. After 2 unsuccessful attempts, I shutdown my laptop and went to my LCS. Picked up a nice half Eagle for my gold type set.
Prices are already trending up on Ebay. I just searched for "2019 enhanced reverse" and there are just over 1,100 available and over 3,084 sold. A couple hours ago, there were something like 1,050 available, and they're being listed a break neck speed, which means they're selling almost as fast as they're listed. Pretty much any of them listed for under $550 are selling instantly before you can even open the page, and I see plenty in the $600-$700 range. Earlier today, it was more like $400-$500 the norm. My gut tells me that they will indeed soon be selling for over 1k as I've seen predicted in other threads.
Yea all I got was OPPs also after over a half dozen tries to wait for my info to appear. Then finally no longer available. I will never pay the ebay prices, let alone buy anything from the mint anymore. I may just plan on selling my SAE collection as this fiasco has just lost my interest in them.

Take a look at the number of ASE's that sold between $89 and $300 on eBay, me thinks those orders will not be filled....
