My dad came home today with silver again! From the same Goodwill store, 3 sterling forks from the same flatware set as the spoons above. 500 grams of sterling total from the two trips.

It is . Others mush have not been going through the flatware bin because my dad told me that he found silver on the top and near the bottom of the bin. So far in the two trips, he has bought 9 tea spoons, 3 soup spoons and 3 salad forks all from the same set. He's going to go back again in a few days to see if more of the set has been placed out for sale.

Not the best deal from the antique mall but $25 for a small weighted sterling dish and a silver spoon with some neat Swedish hallmarks that I can add to my collection.

I never have much to share here , but love the thread. Financial restraints have caused me to liquidate a lot of my silver and /or not pick up anything worth mentioning.
I have had this little bar for years, and might have posted it before. I stumbled upon it yesterday and thought I'd share. Has a nice look to it.
That is a nice little silver ingot.... I am not much of a silver bar collector (I do have some art bars), but I would likely pick that one up at a show. Cheers, RickO
A couple of nice, common pre-33 bullion type pieces that I recently added to the stack. The $10 looks like it may have been lightly cleaned. The St. looks AU.
@asheland... Looking at your images of the 2021 ASE, I can see a slight rim variance at the missing reed. Looks like a strike artifact where the metal flowed more into the rim where the edge gap was wider. I wonder if this will be common on all new ASE's. Cheers, RickO

I noticed that too but if you look at the one that derryb posted in the US coin forum, I don't see that mark on the rim.

Ever notice, the box calls it One Ounce Proof Silver Coin, while the COA calls it One Ounce Silver Proof Coin? 🤔

Nice silver... Looks like one of those puzzles, if you rearrange the bars, you can probably get one or two more in there... Cheers, RickO

Just returned from Laconia Bike week (day trip) ... made me think of these
Picked up a big hunk of iron. Not completely sure what I'm going to do with it. Working with a friend and drawing up some plans.
@Jinx86 That is one cool ass looking Dodge! Keep us posted, I'd be interested in seeing a restoration project.
