I was admiring the 1 oz. JMC bar, looked down....2 poured Engelhards with sequential serial numbers, looked down further...gold Libertad. It was like sensory overload of incredible metals.

The coin show was nice....my last show was Feb 2019.
The JMC strike is hammered.
Finding sequential 5oz bars reasonable can be daunting, and the gold Libertads are my first. They're actually nice looking coins. I may start buying those up more frequently.

Picked this up. My first Deak bar. This bar is huge too.
Measures 6 1/2" x 3 1/4" x 3/8". Serial #8

6 and this #8 are the only 2 known. A 3rd has been seen #110 (but without DEAK stamp) and the font is totally different.

Today’s cool find! It’s like a silver “round” from 1933! It’s a So Called Dollar. I don’t collect them, but really liked this one.

9999 reading on the Sygma. And dead on one Troy ounce on the scale. Impressive accuracy for a silver piece from 1933!

I offered $50, but ended up getting it for free.
It came in to the shop I work at, and the owner saw that I really liked it and he handed it to me. An awesome place to work, no doubt!

Well....without getting in too much trouble with our gracious hosts....he showed a prototype on Instagram of a cute beaver that....well, let's just say had recently been in contact with a razor!
