Looks like prices starting to normalize holding about $900.00 starting bids.

Unless our FAVORITE TOP DEALER MM wants a few more!

Ending soon between $1100.00 thru $1300.00. Practicing on my new I-Pad Pro love this thing!

68 WATCHER POPULAR STILL. I don’t think this will go any higher.

"Looks like prices starting to normalize holding about $900.00 starting bids."

I usually gauge the trends by looking at the buy it now listings. the auctions usually last about six days and end up at about the same price anyway. today I did notice a down trend starting at $1300 buy it now. yesterday you couldn't find anything less than $1500 bin. so, we'll see if things are declining or just experiencing a flattening out during the holidays.

    Ended $1351.00

Will the next end up a $1084.00. That’s quite a spread.

25 watchers. Last second bids put her up to $1225.00 :) Still a nice profit from a $70.00 investment.

I don’t remember that price but there was one even lower and when I clicked on it was already sold. Now I am not in the market for one I just have NO LIFE so I just cruse the internet looking for coins I want to buy. Practicing on my new I pad. Had 4 days off just cooking, lazing around getting ready for the Monday craze at work.
I bought a few Ron Landis design coins etc. patiently waiting for PCGS to open so I can ask a few requests.

I don’t think they ever release more on Sundays but I tried anyway and nothing again I get a feeling it’s going to get sold sign very soon

For prior products they have released on a Sunday. But you have to be watching right at 7:30am EST for the products that are in high demand... In the case of these, they would all be gone in less than a minute of being released.. (you might have a little more time if they released more than a few hundred)

    Your opinion;
How far would the price/value adjust if the mint published mintage numbers in excess of the 1995W?

No but, I remember (maybe the baseball gold) an instance where final audited mintage exceeded maximum authorized mintage because of being oversold. It's mysterious that they've released no sales figures so far (not even press release), they have to know that number, What if it turns out that it's not the new ASE king?

Tin foil hat at the ready.

Their inability to post numbers started before this release. They told one person that they had a staff change.

In fact, the problem started when they released the innovation dollar. You have to be totally obsessed with this coin to think it has anything to do with this.

And why do you even think they would be trying to hide it? They can't hide mintages forever.

This coin Launched November 14. We haven’t seen numbers since November 3. Not releasing numbers has Nothing to do with This coin. FY2019 ended in September. Since November 3, Bullion numbers have been adjusted for the American Gold Eagle for June and August. My guess is that some of the numismatic numbers are incorrect Previous to fiscal year end and the Mint is addressing that issue...

I agree with you about that point. However the Mint has to know how many of these remain, they have to know first day sales figures, they had to have known product availability for subsequent morning releases. Normally for prominant product launches, they have a first day sales report. And the mint did some screwy things with some orders...

The thing with this release is that they have serialized COAs. If they printed more than 30,000 numbered COAs they should definitely know it.

Question...did anyone get one in a larger box than normal? Most of the ones I saw were in boxes about 1 inch tall, but I saw one today in a box that was about a big lengthwise and width, but was about 3-4 inches tall.

I did. One would think that all packaging would be the same. Maybe a little OJT would be in order at the fulfillment center.

The Mint does not issue a first day sales report. The Mint usually responds to a Coin World (or other press) request for that information.

Currently the Mint has 174 line items on the Production and Sales report. I think Most people know that this coin is Sold Out and the Mint just has Not hung up the Sold Out sign as yet. There are other coins that people are more interested in seeing sales numbers than a coin that is virtually Sold Out...

    THIS!

Other than the tin foil hat conspiracies that are springing up, there is no reason to think that the sales are either higher (as some want to oddly conclude) or significantly lower than 30,000. They sold 30,000 on the first day and a few cancellations popped up later. I would be stunned if the number were less than 29,800 sold or higher than 30,000.

I certainly would be shocked if the Mint was intentionally refusing to release a number that was higher. Especially given the frothy secondary market. The Mint would be open to a lawsuit.
