Stoked about the auto-blue! Only a pop of 2!
Great card!
I assume the grade is for the auto?
The answer is thats just the card grade of PSA 10
Auto grades will say " auto grade only" on them.
If its both card and auto graded( called "dual grading") will look like the below and have the PSA/DNA statement
His picture above is "card graded' only
Below is an "auto" only and "dual graded" auto and card graded items
These were all actually July pickups, but I'm far behind on my scanning and don't feel like reviving last months thread. PSA 6/6.5 seems to be my sweet spot for the more common pre-war issues ...
This gets me to the halfway point of the T218 golfers in 6 or better, my third.
Big fan of registry double dips, this one fits both my 27 Churchman set and Bobby Jones Master.
And while not technically an upgrade, I think this Auth presents much better than my raw portion of the strip card ...
Two more scanned. The 1998 Crown Royale series is horribly packaged and Mint 9 and above can be a bear to try and get. Minor corner issue prvented the 10. The reprint refractor has a slight tilt hence the 9. Feebay material with Jeters upcoming election .

Picked up some more 71T for the raw set. A really tough Claude Raymond that isn't horribly OC and some high numbers. I'm only missing 5 cards now, but I need a handful of upgrades.
10% EBay Bucks and used my $10 off eBay coupon form the National. Love the Topps All Stars and have a handful of the HOFers in each year. The scratch near his eyes are on the case not the card.
Here is my 4 latest pickups for my basketball pack run 1971 thru 1990. The 80 & 86 were from the National, but the 77 & 89 Hoops arrived the other day.
"EVERYBODY LOVE EVERYBODY IT SAYS IT RIGHT THERE ON THE WALL" - JACKIE MOON
These two were delivered yesterday. Both were bought during the eBay Bucks promotions. They are both for sets I'm working on. The addition of the Spahn leaves me needing one card to complete the 1958 All Star subset.

Beautiful card! Are you working on any Griffey registry sets?
no I just trying to get all of Griffey jr first three years in psa 10. I am picking up the big ones first then I will get the easier ones later. thanks for your reply.
Added these two BBCE 1976 Topps Cello Boxes to my collection recently. Walter Payton, Randy White, Jack Lambert, Robert Brazile, Ron Jaworski, Harvey Martin and Ed "Too Tall" Jones Rookies may reside.
Even though I am a Packer fan, Payton is my all time favorite running back. Payton's "Hill Running" inspired my Football Coach in High School to make us run hills at the end of every practice, sometimes forwards and sometimes backwards. The good ole days!!

Packer fan... me too! It should be an interesting year this year. I am optimistic.
2 for the price of one. Tough top condition 1996 SP. I have not purchased a card with this type of inner sleeve. Card still is fitting in the rails of the holder, but the back of the slab has a film on it between the card and slab. Must be something to protect the glossy finish on the card?? Thoughts?

It’s common on some of the thinner items that I collect to prevent the item from moving. I like that it keeps the item from moving because the ‘rails’ an cause minor damage IF the item is jostled too much:

I haven't been buying much. Mainly because my wedding is in Sept and I've been cutting back. Im still about 75% on my 48 leaf boxing set. I picked this up because the price was right and I needed a Romo rookie for my cowboys collection.

I think I could handle not opening the packs themselves, but man, I'd sure love to be able to open the boxes to see who was on the fronts of the packs!!
Todd Tobias - Grateful Collector - I focus on autographed American Football League sets, Fleer & Topps, 1960-1969, and lacrosse cards.
Went to a regular card show and picked up some Yaz items from a dealer I've bought from numerous times. One of the items was a 1976 Star Market photo premium, but I shipped it to PSA the next day, so I don't have a scan. That will be the first copy ever graded by PSA. Below are scans of the other 3 items, with notes.
1971 Topps Tattoo panel. Obviously water damaged, and has wrinkles too. But it's a really tough item and the price was right. This will be only the 10th copy graded by PSA, so I'm happy to have it.
1975 Hostess panel. Had significant surface issues and needed a trim. Below are before and after pics.
Obviously my trim job isn't great, but I'm not worried about it. The surface scuffs hurt the technical grade more than the cut will. I'll be happy to get it slabbed.
1983 Boston Herald Sox Stamps #31. Yaz is on 2 stamps, 13 and 31. I already had #13 in a PSA 9. When I get this slabbed, it will be only 9th copy graded by PSA.

Yes, I have thought if I was fortunate enough to have a box like that someday, I'd drive to BBCE and open it in front of Steve, look through the packs, take pics, and have him wrap it again.
Finally got to my Mantle 8.5 I picked up about two weeks ago, and really pleased with the card in hand. Knowing that Matty C had owned it meant it was a well centered card with good eye appeal. At the National I had a few dealers and one grading company look at the 7.5 and all suggested I review the Mantle 7.5 - having it next to the 8,5 definitely confirms I need to get it checked out.
Got a recent group sub back. Had one of the Gleyber black refractors sold before I even got it back in hand. The Blue Judge is /50, pop1, the Heritage Judge was a BGS 9.5 crackout/cross and the 2001 eTopps Jeter is a pop 4 (none higher) and upgrades my PSA 8.
