Stoked about the auto-blue! Only a pop of 2!

    Great card!

I assume the grade is for the auto?

The answer is thats just the card grade of PSA 10
Auto grades will say " auto grade only" on them.
If its both card and auto graded( called "dual grading") will look like the below and have the PSA/DNA statement

His picture above is "card graded' only
Below is an "auto" only and "dual graded" auto and card graded items

    Keith...

    You need '56 Mick's sidekick...my '57 Mick. A pair of 8.5s is a winning hand!

Congrats on the Mantle! Beautiful card...

Since the one I got back from PSA was a 6. Why not do a upgrade.

Two more scanned. The 1998 Crown Royale series is horribly packaged and Mint 9 and above can be a bear to try and get. Minor corner issue prvented the 10. The reprint refractor has a slight tilt hence the 9. Feebay material with Jeters upcoming election .

These two were delivered yesterday. Both were bought during the eBay Bucks promotions. They are both for sets I'm working on. The addition of the Spahn leaves me needing one card to complete the 1958 All Star subset.

Bought from ebay. A little rub-a-dub-dub, and it’ll be better than new. 😆

This is more of a "found" than a pickup.

    Isn't this ironic?

    Mike,

I once heard somewhere that the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Funny how unconventional conventional wisdom has become these days.

    Nice cards, everyone!

Even though I am a Packer fan, Payton is my all time favorite running back. Payton's "Hill Running" inspired my Football Coach in High School to make us run hills at the end of every practice, sometimes forwards and sometimes backwards. The good ole days!!

Packer fan... me too! It should be an interesting year this year. I am optimistic.

2 for the price of one. Tough top condition 1996 SP. I have not purchased a card with this type of inner sleeve. Card still is fitting in the rails of the holder, but the back of the slab has a film on it between the card and slab. Must be something to protect the glossy finish on the card?? Thoughts?

It’s common on some of the thinner items that I collect to prevent the item from moving. I like that it keeps the item from moving because the ‘rails’ an cause minor damage IF the item is jostled too much:

I haven't been buying much. Mainly because my wedding is in Sept and I've been cutting back. Im still about 75% on my 48 leaf boxing set. I picked this up because the price was right and I needed a Romo rookie for my cowboys collection.

I think I could handle not opening the packs themselves, but man, I'd sure love to be able to open the boxes to see who was on the fronts of the packs!!

Yes, I have thought if I was fortunate enough to have a box like that someday, I'd drive to BBCE and open it in front of Steve, look through the packs, take pics, and have him wrap it again.

    That's quite an assortment Keith.

Does the 8.5 have any chance at a 9?

    Well done my friend.

Got a recent group sub back. Had one of the Gleyber black refractors sold before I even got it back in hand. The Blue Judge is /50, pop1, the Heritage Judge was a BGS 9.5 crackout/cross and the 2001 eTopps Jeter is a pop 4 (none higher) and upgrades my PSA 8.
