Agreed. And actually like their chances against the ‘stros.

Tanaka certainly does rise to the occasion in the post-season. He looked great the other day.

Not so fast with the Yankee hype. I have a $5.00 wager on the Yankees to win the World Series. Probably put the jinx on them as my wagering history is less that stellar. So it's on me if they come up empty. :)

It was the 5th inning. I'm not killing Boone for that. When you hold the Houston Astros to two runs through nine innings you win. Period.

But Green wasn't the starter and wasn't in trouble. The next guy gave up a HR to the very next batter. Looks to me that the Yankees win 2-1 if not for that silly move.

One would think so Paul but Astro pitching has turned the Yankees lineup into mush. Yankee pitching is doing what they can.

Someone needs to tell Aaron Boone these two things:

1 - He doesn’t need to use every guy in the bullpen every night starting in the 3rd or 4th inning.

2 - LeMahieu, Judge, Torres and then whomever the hell you want.

PS - Maybe give Romine 1 start? A day off might be good for Sanchez and you've still got him off the bench if needed. He looks lost at the plate. And no, I’m not blaming him or a Sanchez hater. He’s a very good player.

Really going to have their hands full with the Astros. Talk about deep! Everyone is saying that the Yankees need the rainout to get their pitching settled, but it simply give the Stro's trio an additional day of rest. I think the Astros just have too much pitching.

Go Yankee's...…..I never could stand the Astros! If it wasn't for Boone's over managing it would be 2-1 or maybe even 3-0 Yankee's. If it wasn't for Verlander and Cole the Astros wouldn't even be there.

Well they had 9 base runners against Gerrit Cole. Unfortunately, most of the time it was with 2 outs. I agree with artee above. No Spahn or Sain but we got the rain.

The weather forecast is calling for a bomb cyclone. I actually had to Google it because I never heard of it before. It is basically a very powerful nor’easter. I have tickets for Game 5. Hopefully the Yankees even the series tomorrow night.

The Houston Astros are a better baseball team. It is as simple as that. Hopefully the Yankees win tonight so I can watch them on Saturday with my friends visiting. This current situation will be very difficult to overcome. I am still hopeful.

I definitely agree that the stros are the better team and probably will equate to a world series trip.

On the flip side the braves absolutely dominated the nationals this year. i mean, dominated. however the braves got beat by the cards in 5 games, with a 10 run 1st inning as an exclamation point only to get their arses whooped in 4 straight games by the nationals.

To borrow a line from the football scene it’s “any given sunday”.

I do see the Astros winning the World Series in game 6 though.

Impartial here, but don't sell the Nats short; they are one of the few teams who can match Cole/Verlander with Strasburg/Scherzer. Should be a very tough series. I think the Stros lineup is deeper, but a we've seen so far in these playoffs, good pitching......... Stay tuned!

Ok, ok. Enough of this blasting a baseball games duration. I dont know anyone that actually sits there, eyes glued and resisting the urge to pee or blink for all 9 innings.

I view it as background noise and sometimes not even that if i’m streaming a live show. Its elevator music for the eyes while sorting cards, drinking beer, surfing ebay or fighting with perkdog.

A golf round is typically 4 hours, but youre not playing the entire time. And while the duration may not be ideal, its a lot better than Nicholas Cage movies or Lt. Kendrick on the ID channel!

If anything, use it as an excuse to not be bothered for 4 hours. Hell, I make claims about dropping a deuce just to get away for 15 mins sometimes when it was really just gas. 4 hours of beers being delivered upon request? Thats a rarity my friend. For me at least!

    Long live baseball!

No way the Yankees win 3 straight against Houston at this point. They may not make it back to Texas.

As someone said above, the Yankees had a great year but the 'Stros are the better team. Maybe NY spends the big bucks on Gerrit Cole in the winter, maybe not. I think if you subtract him from Houston and add him to NY, they're much closer to evenly matched.

I just laugh that FS1 still had the notion that a game lasts 3 hours. This one went all the way through their 'Post Game Wrap Up' hour and well into some WWE Behind the Scenes plan.
