you mean just like it took you three months to start a thread about the Yankees??
I just got back to this place after a 10 year hiatus 6 months ago. Just started looking at Sports Talk again recently.
It's noted where the first unsolicited shots have come from. I can more than hold my own. But, I can see why a Yankee fan wouldn't bother in this place.

what are you talking about, unsolicited shots??? I ask a question and it's a "shot" to your thinking?? get a grip.
I'm an Indians fan and have been my entire life, that's no secret to anyone who reads/posts here. if this is how you react to a comment followed by a question than the thread will be one you'll probably be the lone participant in. looking at the replies so far shows that if anyone says ANYTHING you perceive as not adoring the Yankees that you will criticize them.

that was easy
get off your high horse buddy. You coming in here and getting on me for it taking me THREE MONTHS to start a thread meant exactly what? lolol
You’re correct - the Yankees have pitching issues. There’s no doubt about it. Are best pitcher this year - Domingo German - is an unproven kid hitting innings totals he’s never seen before. I still think Masahiro Tanaka is an ace but not everyone agrees. He certainly gives up home runs but seems to step up in big games in October. I thought Paxton and Happ were terrible signings and I don’t like either guy. CC is old and while I still think he has the ability to throw a good postseason and leave it all out there I can see others saying no chance. But he’s a gamer and a Hall of Famer (to me, anyway). That leaves Luis Severino; he’ll be key. If he can come back and make some September starts and resemble the guy he’s been most of his career, I think they have enough pitching. The bullpen is legit. If Sevy is hurt, the Yankees will be in trouble if they don’t add an arm in the next 5-6 days.

It's been obvious since last season that the Yankees SP is less than good. That's a given. It's not like we just wokeup and realized this. It's been amazing that they have done what they have with a horrid SP staff AND so many injuries to key guys in the lineup. I'm happy no matter what happens because this team WILL get the pitching and look out when that happens with this pen and the pipeline of offensive talent on the big league team and a minor leagues chock full of the same.

No problem, glad to rub it in, while I can. You gotta admit, hammering the Yankees in Fenway is a Red Sox Nation most favorite pass time. No doubt you'll be anticipating a response in kind at some point, along with all that 50 bazillion WS wins, and all that goes with your ancient history. I already know you Yankee fans love to go there, kinda like a Linus blanket thing.
Sincerely hope you enjoyed the last two games at Fenway, we certainly did. Maybe Judge and Encarnacion will wake up for you by 4PM. Unless a miracle happens, your team appears well positioned to win the Division, but, I doubt you'll take the big potato.

Yanks don’t have the pitching to take it all. That’s been a given. We’ll see what Cashman does. However, I’m absolutely stoked about the future. The Yankees are flush with top talent right down the farm. The future is bright

LeMahieu for sure. Judge, not so much. Gardner has to be heading out soon, I would think. I don't follow your player's stats too closely, so that's my brief 2 cents. Does Voit ever smile...looks like he's always on a death mission like John Wick.
Oh, before we go there, Boone and Dent's homers are ancient history and long forgotten. But, I'd be happy to discuss why Mariano is revered in Fenway, or the 2004 comeback of the century after your team was up 3-0 in the AL Div playoffs...or not.
Oh, Cashman...he's talking to every team BUT the Red Sox...his words. Kinda lame if you ask me. Should never have dumped Joe G. BTW, I've been around long enough to have seen both Ted Williams and Mickey Mantle play in Fenway...my total lack of kindness to your team was probably instilled at birth. Never saw a Yankee cap in all my days in my home town...a sacrilege to do such a thing and probably would have generated a good a$$ whoopin to wear one at the ball field.

You aren’t the first New England sports fan I’ve seen who now wants to us all to believe that baseball began in 2004 and football began in 2001. The Red Sox fan base - arrogant already about their 90 years of garbage teams - has become the dooshiest of all fan bases.
Please enjoy the game, as well.

It’s trendy for Yankee fans to deflect their arrogance on Sox fans since we still revel in our great turnaround. They will never understand the pathetic existence had before ‘04. Arrogant and dooshy? Yea we got it from NY fans, too bad they get offended that we act like they did for decades. The funny thing is all these dooshy arrogant Hipsters that pump their fists about the great Yankee history were in diapers the last time the Yankees won anything save ‘09

Guys no victories or loses are ever forgotten. No matter how long ago. That would mean at some point the ‘04 Sox turn around won’t matter anymore. Let’s not be so blinded by team loyalties that we say stupid shit.

Typical Yankee BS fan who has to resort to childish inane comments expected from a sociopath. He is the reason why Red Sox Nation hate Yankee fans so much. They feel entitled, can't carry on a decent back and forth, with friendly barbs, only crap posts. I'll bet he loved the last two games in Fenway, especially the first. He is obviously unaware that I was addressing Softparade when I wrote "enjoy the game"...as for Wheaty Boy, I hope it's as bad as the last two! What a doofus.
2004 biggest comeback and win in the history of the game...Yankees rolling 0-3, having just crushed the Red Sox in Fenway on a dank Saturday night by a score of 19-8! Yikes, it's ovah! oh, wait, there's more... Red Sox win the next 4 games to send the whiney, crybaby, teddy bear hugging, loooooooooozer Yankees down to defeat. The best part was it happened in George's house. The rest, as they say, is history.
Of course this Bozo, (oops, dooshiest), don't want to be too insensitive here... wants to tell us how many bajillion WS wins the Yankees had, Dent, Boone, blah, blah...boring.

I had no issues with it. It’s baseball. It was astonishing to me that it took over a hundred years for something like that to happen. I love the Yankees. I’ve seen too much success in my 50 years. I enjoy it all no matter what happens. Never do I get in a bad mood over it. It’s not like my bank account is connected to them lol
I was happy for Boston when all was said and done.

I'm an Indians fan and have been my entire life, that's no secret to anyone who reads/posts here. if this is how you react to a comment followed by a question than the thread will be one you'll probably be the lone participant in. looking at the replies so far shows that if anyone says ANYTHING you perceive as not adoring the Yankees that you will criticize them.
carry on, dude.

Enjoy the game.

I hope you don't enjoy the game.
I had no issues with it. It’s baseball. It was astonishing to me that it took over a hundred years for something like that to happen. I love the Yankees. I’ve seen too much success in my 50 years.
