OK. I'll give you a hint. We once had your greatest manager of all time as our manager, and we have been considered the best run organization in baseball the last 50 years.
Ooooh a "best run organization" tag lol. That usually means no win so much haha

I think we have just about the same world series titles since 1970 as you do.
Haha
The Yanks have 7 since then ... next closest are several teams with 4.
One of the lamest stances to take is the Yankees buy players garbage. Teams like the Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers, etc take advantage of rules set forth by MLB. Gimme a break LOL

Half an hour until you get the joy of watching CC try and save you guys some face.
Can't wait to rejoin this thread in the postseason when Yankee fans will be cursing Cashman left and right because the starting pitching lets you guys down once again.

It’s trendy for Yankee fans to deflect their arrogance on Sox fans since we still revel in our great turnaround. They will never understand the pathetic existence had before ‘04. Arrogant and dooshy? Yea we got it from NY fans, too bad they get offended that we act like they did for decades. The funny thing is all these dooshy arrogant Hipsters that pump their fists about the great Yankee history were in diapers the last time the Yankees won anything save ‘09
Paul, Boone's homer is ancient history and doesn't matter but the '04 turn around does. Boone's homer was the year before
It's all good though.
I’m still pissed off over that Boone HR even though the Marlins beat you guys and probably would have beat us too. And I don’t look at you and Tim as the hipsters, I know you guys have been around a long time and remember pre ‘04 and yes I remember you guys and your congrats when we won. It’s all in the recipe though, Sox and Yankee fans hate each other’s team, some are dooshy, some are arrogant and some are defensive about it.
We will now have a "caption contest". The Grand Prize winner will be treated to a lobster and clam feast somewhere NE of Boston and hosted by Paul. Softparade and 1951 Wheaties Premium will pick up the tab.

Here’s what bugs me about (some) Yankee fans. They got Gleyber Torres by holding up the Cubs who were desperate. Good job by Cashman. But now that the shoe is on the other foot, I see Yankee fans (in comments sections of Sports media reports) whining about how the Blue Jays expect too much for Marcus Stroman. In the off-season, I would hear callers to WFAN saying the Yankees should “get DeGrom” and when asked what the Yankees would give up it would be whatever spare parts they don’t feel they really need anymore. It’s a Yankees world, the rest of us just live in it.

Yanks sat on their hands as I thought they would. Cashman f’d up during the winter. Today there was nothing to pull the trigger on. Astros are heavy favorites to face LA
