Definite issues with SP but boy oh boy is this team stacked in every other department and DEEP as balls.
Come on out of hiding my fellow pinstriped buds!

~that same low cheese that Peacock threw to Judge to K him was right in Chezer's wheelhouse... same pitch.

How about Gary's 481 ft yesterday
    What a beast
He is also getting better behind the plate and calling games.

How about that hanging soft middle of the plate curve ball about belt high Urshella missed.
Could you imagine if Stanton, Judge, Or Sanchez connected.
Great hitters make the pitcher pay.

I should say I have loved DiDi from the moment he put on pinstripes.

Translation: he doesn’t want to play for the Yankees. He’s a country boy, and doesn’t need the headache of having to explain and justify his every move to Sweeney Mirty and Suzyn Waldman on a daily basis. That hardly makes him soft. In fact he’s the antithesis of soft.

No, that’s soft. Mickey Mantle and many other Yankees were country boys. Lol at the notion that it’s fine to not want to be held accountable.

Don't have one, but my dad was born and raised in Worcester, Mass. I liked the A's as a child, but not into it that much now. However, I do enjoy watching him enjoying his life at his old age, and that included seeing him watch the Yankees choke like no other team in the history of major league baseball. He did enjoy that a lot.

Ouch. I’m sorry your ownership is horrible. It would be epic for NY if the Mets were lead at the ownership level with a drive to win.

Sox last year maybe Yankees this year, I certainly hope not but I do give them a lot of credit for overcoming the injuries they had early on and still managing to be in first. If the Yanks end up winning the division I hope they destroy everyone and make it to game 7 extra innings to the ALCS championship game and LOSE 👍

Baseballs a long season and this is Yanks - Sawks.

I predict September games will matter for the AL East...

The stats show that Tampa has the best pitching in the division.

Also, Red Sox and Yankees have scored about the same amount of runs this year. Not much of a difference. It's the Sox pitching that needs to heat up come August and September.
The Yankees are thin on pitching, and the line up isn't doing much better than Boston right now. Same amount of runs scored basically.

I think the Yankees better Cowboy up this year, or this will be the first time in their history that they didn't win a World Series in a decade. They have a big goose egg from 2010 through 2019.

Of course Paul. Any Sox fan should feel this way. Listen man, I get it. I don’t get butt hurt over my beloved Yankees when they go down in flames.. I’ve seen way too much success in my lifetime. I’m immune to butt hurtness.

It’s the early 90’s teams that truly sucked. Just before the rise of a true juggernaut.

Yanks just tied MLB mark with a HR in their 27th straight game with Aaron Hicks 3 run shot vs Blue Jays.

Also, Yanks move into 7th place on the consecutive games without being shutout list at 160. As you would suspect, Yankee teams inhabit the top slots in this category too.

It's only less that 1/2 done but the Bombers are getting the full roster back.
Addition of Edwin Encarnacion is a major plus.

The Red Sox can still pick up and get going. Never count them out.

Crazy nutty game in London. Only the Yanks / Sox can pull that off lol.

In the end a win is a win and the Sox are ten games out.

Thought we would slow them down after plating 6 right back after them in the first but Yanks bats were toooo much 🤷‍♂️

Couldn’t slow the Sox down either. Truly a crazy game that was one of a kind.

Yanks had more punch at the plate and was the difference. Like it almost always is this season.

This is an extremely deep team at the plate and in the field. SP is our softest spot.

this will be a jinx no doubt but Good Lord...

The Yankees have won 11 straight games against AL East teams and are 17-3 in the division since May 19. It is the Yankees’ longest winning streak within the division since May 26-July 3, 1999 when they won 13 straight. They are 29-7 against the East this season.
