I don’t think I have ever seen a pic of this man smiling. He was intense 100% of the time. In my opinion a HOFer , life cut way to short as we all know.

Here are a few cards I picked up in the last couple weeks. I have started working on the 1970 Topps HOF set and the 1970 Topps All Star subset. The 1961 Nu-Card New York Giants card is the lowest pop PSA 9 in the set. There are only four PSA 9s.
Always wanted a Ty Cobb autograph and finally managed to get one.

The biggest lesson I've learned in this hobby, and in life, is that if you have a strong conviction, you owe it to yourself to see it through. Don't sell yourself, or your investments, short. Unless the facts change. Then sell it all.
James, you might have seen me mention in various corners of the internet that I love league leaders cards with multiple players and 100% HOFers.... your 1970 card with four HOFers on it is outstanding!
Just got the 2018 Triple Threads /199 Mattingly in. I'm not sure why it took so long to find this one. I have had the lower numbered ones for a while now. I'm only missing the 1/1 Ruby for the complete run of non-auto, non-GU Donnie Baseball. I don't expect to find that one any time soon if ever. I searched the sold/completed listings on EBAY and didn't see it so it must be sitting in an unopened pack somewhere or it found it's way into another Donnie collector's PC.
Thanks! I thought it was too. Pops lower than this are almost nonexistent (17 total pop lower) so I may have to make them myself. Is that acceptable in this day and age?

Here are my 5th and 6th pickups for my 1989 UD #1 PSA Rainbow
You've now inspired me. I'm going to do my own rainbow as well, I figure I only need 1-5. I think it would make a nice display to show the progression of PSA grades!

It has been fun to complete! Not too expensive so far and a good selection up for sale. I have 4 left of the “easy” ones, then it gets a bit interesting. Low to no pops for most.

I already have the 2018 slot filled for Zeke in the Cowboys running back set but this card was too cheap and pretty to pass up.

I like looking at the different colored variations Kris.
On the 1/1 card? Is it possible it's still in a box not opened yet?
Completely possible. Those came out November 7th 2018. There are still breaks going on for these so probably a lot of unopened still.

It's been quite a while since I've had anything worth posting, but this one definitely qualifies.
Technically this finishes off the 6-player Brooklyn set, although one of them is horribly o/c and will definitely be replaced at some point.
