it took over 2 hours to sell the last 25 before they went unavailable
I almost bought the last 25. Then I almost bought the last 23. And I kept debating right down to the last 5. LOL. I finally decided I'm not that crazy.
Looks like the Mint is going to issue more of the Enhanced Reverse Proof ASEs later this year as a stand-alone product. (19XE)
The Pride of Two Nations ERP ASE had a mintage limit of 110,000. Most of those are sold.
They'll probably make the new ones at a different mint, to get around that limitation.
Denver would be unique.

Denver would. I don’t think they ever made a silver eagle

I don't know. There weren't too many left to be sold. Sales were at 99734 out of 100,000 before these reappeared and there were more than 100 available.

They can't have many left, unless there were more order cancellations/returns.
I don't think people are looking for them. It's no surprise that they hang around for a while. I sold one on eBay today while they were available from the Mint.

like you said, with the 10 percent e bucks going on, cheaper to buy on e bay. no reason to look at mint websight
yes, I've sold 3 at $150 with shipping. That's total cost of $135 after bucks. If you aren't a loyalty program customer, you're going to be $145 at the Mint or $140 if you have the loyalty free shipping.
Ok...maybe a dumb question but is there ANY difference in the coins (USA vs RCM)? I don't think so but raw RCM sets sell for around $240 soooooo what would stop someone from putting the USA coins in a returned RCM OGP from a submission? I have six RCM empty OGP's...not that I would EVER do that...(actually four but another unopened RCM box of two sets from day one)

No difference in the coins, only the packaging. (Unless it's my set, which has the labels in the wrong slabs. Or the coins in the wrong slabs. I decided to keep them that way. )
Makes no sense that the RCM version would cost $240, UNLESS it's still sealed or the RCM packaging alone is selling for $100...

oh, you know how people are...
There is nothing stopping someone from replacing coins in a box. You won't be able to get it slabbed, but some people don't care.
Empty RCM packaging should have some value because of its "rarity" but $100 for the RCM box seems excessive.
He means a LOSER is selling under bullion when can sell for 10% less eBay Bucks under "non-bullion" category. At least for the next few hours...

I'm sitting on 36 of them. I've sold 3 of them in the last 2 days but none in the previous 2 weeks. No dealer wants these, there's no margin on them. They are selling at $149 retail which does not make it worth the $140 price to buy them.
I remember the days when something went "Currently available" a few...very few..would trickle out over a couple of weeks and then it would change to "sold out"

Now it just goes on and on and on and.......
Largely it's returns. Any item with a large number of returns ends up dragging on forever. At some point, 5000 of these suckers showed up again. They were at 99700+ sold last week. I wonder if we're back down to 95,000 sold again. LOL.
Too many would-be flippers abusing the return policy.
it is possible only about 10 or 15 sets per day are being sold on the mint web sight. the sets being sold on e bay are at a stand still also, the only time someone might buy one is during a e bay promo. everyone who wanted a set already has one
I'm still holding off. I may buy a couple at bullion value in a year or so when the interest has completely dried up. Happens with the modern mint products more times than not.

Won't happen here. Not at bullion. May be cheaper, not at bullion. Look at the other 100k ASE's. They are all $100+ still.

I still say overpriced, supply spanking demand....
Well, just Love coins, period.
Actually, I think it is priced perfectly. That's the problem. There's no margin on them so no one wants to deal them.
I am ok with having 2 sets left. I made enough money off the Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Currency Set to make up any loss on them
Gone....
Gone gone? Or a Casper, as in the friendly ghost, will it reappear again?
Probably will reappear.....

????huh????
$140ish is alot more than 2 ounces of silver. Think you confused bullion melt price with Mint issued price.
He means a LOSER is selling under bullion when can sell for 10% less eBay Bucks under "non-bullion" category. At least for the next few hours...
He's referring to the "bullion" category not the bullion value. If you list in bullion, the item is exempt from eBay Bucks.
Gotcha! Im the 1 confused...lol
Still 99+ sitting there
yes, it's kind of funny at this point.
A dealer will see them soon and snap them up

Still 99+
Either literally no one is buying any or they have far more than the 270 that should be left. Maybe @nurmaler could peak at the number for us. Please?
The UNLIMiTED Edition two coin set that just keeps on giving!

my 2 cents
they are not even selling during the 10 percent promo ending tonight
They might. Last week's promo netted me 2 sales.
