I really like to see all of your emmitt smith cards. the only ones I have that are a bit important are the psa 10 emmitt smith rookie and his 96 mirror gold and his finest gold refractor.

Sent this to Tri-Star for a private signing, and got it back last week:
that is a really great looking card. I would have that graded in a psa case but not put a grade on. it would look really great that way. again nice looking card.

Thank you! I love the 1996 Select variations especially the gold. I have a PSA 9.
I have been picking away at the 1956 Topps baseball set for about a year now in mid grade and still need me a decent Mantle like the one someone else posted earlier in this thread. This is my newest Hall of Famer and a rookie HOFer.
Here are a few back from PSA, they include an up and comer, a few Heritage HOF autos, a Heritage throwback and some mint 68 Topps. The last card posted is one my uncle bought for me at a card show in 1983 and it will be a part of my collection until I leave this earth.
Snagged this to help with my 1966 Pirates registry set. This card typically has serious centering issues - most are significantly off center - so I jumped at this card even though it’s got a little something going on over Willie’s head. I’ve become a centering snob since joining this board, thanks to reading a bunch of your comments - the solid centering won me over. Apologies for the glare.
Not a pickup, but something I stumbled upon walking into my parents garage. Anyone recognize this or know anything about it?
Main collecting focus is Patrick Roy playing days 85/86-02/03, expect 1/1, National/All-Star stamped cards.PC Completion: 2,548/2,952; 86.31% My Patrick Roy PC Website:https://proy33collector.weebly.com

Yes, I recognize it well! Originally received that puzzle for a birthday circa 1986?, put it together and had it framed and on my wall in my childhood bedroom. At some point, it became separated from my possessions and gone, but not ever forgotten. Maybe 3 years ago, I was in a consignment store and saw this one, brand new in box, and for nostalgia's sake, bought it and framed it, and it now hangs in my card room. I have since seen a couple more on eBay and there is one actually for sale right now in my LCS. I believe the asking prices were all around $15-$20 for new in box.

Super looking POPS!! You're right the centering on that card is brutal, but yours in absolutely awesome.

Had that same puzzle that I put together and framed up in my room as a kid. No longer have mine but brings back nice memories. Your frame even looks about like mine did. Thanks for posting.
Mechanism of play: 52 action cards; the top of the box is the playing field
Interesting "optional" play: offense and defense privilege - I have rarely seen this kind of thing?
*Keep in mind - parents in the 50s took the family for their "every" Sunday drive to no where - a portable game like this can save what is always the most boring thing a kid could be subjected to - as if Sunday Church wasn't torture enough?

A few more pickups for my 54 set. I'm down to needing 14 now.
Loving the '54's. While the new stuff is shiney and pretty I just think you can beat vintage. There is a whole lot of history in those cards. Good luck on finishing your set.

Have been looking for a nice psa 9 for awhile and then this 8 comes along that looks just as good.
Been looking for a HE 76. Recent PSA 9 went for crazy price. Expensive but I’m very happy with this!

I like to zig while everyone else zags. See those shiny Tigers over there?
I'll grab a Mickelson "RC" from the same run of auctions. All 3 ending this past Sunday went for less than the last couple previous sales.
Somehow I did end up winning a base Tiger too that didn't get caught up in the frenzy and went for 2/3 of last months sale ...
These are the latest additions to my subsets. I now need one 1961 MVP card and one 1959 AS to complete those subsets.
Congrats on nearing completion, it's been a fun ride to watch!
I think this looks good enough to grade.
