Purchased the three 8.5s from the Net54 forum - the Spahn is my birthday present from my brother. Have a few more coming in the mail in what is turning out a great month of additions.
I have always loved the Johnston Cookies cards and this one is no exception. Living in the Milwaukee area I always look out beyond center field of what was then County Stadium and now Miller Park to imagine what it was like to see the cookie factory from the ball park (At least I was told one could easily see it from the stands).
Made a few more pick ups for my mid grade 1956 Topps baseball set. I am trying to find great cards with awesome eye appeal that are in the PSA/SGC/BVG 5-7 range and with these two pick ups I have 22 of the 32 Hall of Famers in this iconic Topps baseball set. I still need the Mantle, Mays, Koufax and Clemente but I am not too worried. I know they will eventually come my way.
Used my Ebay Bucks towards these three. Love to get second year cards of HOF like the Gibson - not the major layout that a rookie costs but still captures them in their youth.
Picked up a few Ripken favorites from my childhood in PSA 10s:
Main collecting focus is Patrick Roy playing days 85/86-02/03, expect 1/1, National/All-Star stamped cards.PC Completion: 2,548/2,952; 86.31% My Patrick Roy PC Website:https://proy33collector.weebly.com
I spent a lot more than I wanted to on this without the protective film still on it, but this is a super tough card to find and I couldn't justify letting it go to someone else:

This card has been on my want list for a bit. As my Sabres collection comes to completion and slows awaiting low pop cards to appear. I’ve decided to slowly add HOFers & sure fire first ballot HOFers to the collection. This guy fits that description.
Just bought this today! Overpaid for it, but glad I got one.

You guys have picked up some really nice stuff.
On the eBay bucks?
I guess I shouldn't spend it all in one place?
Mine did not cover all those. Was out of bucks by the time I got to the Gibson and did not cover the whole Ford.
