Adding 92 in front of the fedex smartpost tracking number will be the tracking for USPS.
It will just say awaiting package until fedex hands it off to them

There are already a couple dozen 69 PL's counting both grading services, and they are just starting to be graded. Looks like Moon money for 69's. LOL.

I am waiting on a PCGS grading of ms70pl on these Kennedy coins. Only 50,000 made in "enhanced finish" ( ok so the coin does not glow in the dark) but it does make this a low mintage coin that Kennedy collector's will want.
If you read back on this thread, the "enhanced" or "special" finish on these sets was debunked as nothing special. However, they do seem more "proof-like" than normal business strikes, thus the grading services are willing to hand out PL designations -- a first. We won't really know until the 2019 Unc Mint Sets come out to compare.
I have several of the rocket Kennedy's in hand and they are proof like. How they will grade is a wait and see situation. PCGS's does list Kennedy's with the PL designations. Verify cert #31466760. This is a 2014-s silver Kennedy that is in my registry set. There are also DMPL designations for this coin. If you mean a "first" for an "enhanced" finish, I would agree that this would be a first. Happy collecting and watch out for the first uncertified coin on Ebay listed as a "real glow in the dark coin" but was hand painted with a day glow paint and guaranteed to be a mint original. $10,000 or best offer. LOL
The reality is this is not an enhanced strike nor is it a high relief strike which you are offering up with your cert. number. Just a plain ole Denver business strike thrown into some special packaging. Granted, packaging of 50,000, but the coin itself no different then the bags and rolls that are going to be issued soon. Marketing, marketing.
& of course Aspie has a better eye then I could ever hope to have. I am just not seeing it on the sets I have/had.

I understand that these coins do not contain a special surface finish. As a Kennedy collector, I collect every type of Kennedy graded meaning that if it has a "rocket", "limited edition", "congratulations", designation in a PCGS slab, I buy them. "My master set" has many, many sub sets incorporated within them. The registry does not allow me to put in say a 2019 s Kennedy's limited edition coin and a 2019 s regular proof coin. If the coin has the same mint mark and composition like clad or silver, only one of them can be added to a set. This is why according to PCGS that even though the 2018 s reverse proof Kennedy and a regular Kennedy 2019 s proof coin are different types of coins, there is only one coin opening available to add into your registry set. Which coin is your choice. The fact that the "Rocket" Kennedy has a mintage of only 50K, adds no value to me except that it will go into my personal set. I will buy the Explorer Kennedy as well as the regular business strikes. I am a little winded in this reply but I do enjoy talking. Please continue to enlighten me on collecting and please update me on the Rockets and soon to be Explorers coins.
May all your searches end in high grades.
We have looked at close to 1,000 sets already. Will be well on the way to looking at close to 1,250-1,500 sets when some recent purchases reach us. So, about 2-3% of the entire mintage. I simply wanted to grade a super quality 2009-D Kennedy for my #1 (current) Registry set. That’s what collectors do (in all series). My son Justin thinks I am nuts, as does my wife. They are not collectors. I told them, if we need to give the sets away at Christmas for free with a min. Order, who cares. Maybe I lose $1,000 in the end. Maybe $2,000. Maybe I breakeven. But, having a look at 1,000-1,500 sets I consider entertainment, not work. My quest for the nicest PCGS coin will likely produce a large number of undergrade coins. I’ll consign them to Justin and he can sell them however he wants on and off eBay. I would be stunned if prices stayed where they are when our large quantity of PCGS coins hit the market, but if they did, I might actually make a few dollars in the end on the project. Either way, I’ll have a story to tell for many years about 2009-D Kennedy coins when all the dust settles.
Just my 2 cents.

On the same page... approaching 1000 sets screened and more in route.. So true, won't be long before several large quantities hit the market..
Someone mentioned the Kennedy Half in the Rocketship set is not a High Relief Strike. I thought the US Mint switched back to the original "High Relief" obverse starting in 2015 (even for their regular P/D Clad offerings). If I compare this Half Dollar to my 2014 High Relief Anniversary 2-Coin Clad Set (K14), the Obverse looks to be identical in terms of the High Relief.

LOL. What fun!
I agree with pretty much all of this. I'm sure you mean 2019-D not 2009-D. Don't we all want to be 10 years younger? Well...not if you're 9, I guess.
The key here is FUN. It should be fun and despite the other thread that is condemning us to hell for being...gasp...dealers, I'm so glad to hear that you are still having FUN!
Good luck!
I bought some undergraded enhanced reverse proof Kennedys from Justin. He did a super nice job with the packaging and shipping and was tremendously easy to deal with. So two thumbs up for both Wondercoin and Monster Coin Mart!

I think what they meant to say is that it is not a special strike. It is the same die and strike as all the clad offerings from 2015 onward. It is simply not unique to the rocketship sets.
Speaking of 2018 Mint State Kennedy coins... anyone have a nice quality specimen in 67 grade they want to sell at a fair price? We have not graded our large quantity of 2018 mint sets yet. Not a single set. Was just too buy. That will be a Summer, 2019 project and, absent horribly bad luck, we will likely raise the pops of these P and D coins. You heard that here first. I have only 1 coin of each mint in my registry sets. One P and one D both in ms67 grade. If I locate others, I will pm you. My last recollection is that the P minted coin has only 45 coins graded in ms67 and 12 coins in the d mint. Both coins have none graded higher or until you submit your 2018 mints sets. if you get some 8's, let me know.

It may have been me but if not he was correct.
Go back and read the mint description of Kennedy half dollar releases. Just do two quick ones. The 2019 Rocket Ship and 2018 P & D bags and rolls both state "the original 1964 (obverse) design". Design does not mean a High Relief Strike.

Yowza you two, I've been through ~300 and thought that was a lot!
They certainly don't look much more proof like than Kennedy's from the last couple years. This 1 from 2018 has very reflective surfaces.

Honestly... the only difference is....
Mas is actually making money at it!
Wondercoin
so about those under-graded graded coins....lol
Kennedys are my quest...
Mas does everything right! Even incorporates early in the game NGC to max out the profit.
This is why Justin is often on my Arse! Registry, smegistry!
Wondercoin.
Glad my onesies, twosies, and threesies are already in the chute.
Good luck @wondercoin @mas3387 and all other Kennedy collector/hunters.
Agree @jmlanzaf it’s all fun! And fun is happiness.
You know what that means... because I’m Happy!

I am not a dealer but only a lowly collector who wants a rocket in an ms70pl, there will be more than one so after @wondercoin gets his, I am next...lol
Kennedys are my quest...
So what grade did it get? both of mine are 7's.
Kennedys are my quest...
I am just a coin weenie who can’t wait any longer! Lol. Just PM me if you do.
Wondercoin.
Kennedys are my quest...
The first one is simply my album filler. My graded one is graded ms66 but still has very reflective surfaces.

It may have been me but if not he was correct.
Go back and read the mint description of Kennedy half dollar releases. Just do two quick ones. The 2019 Rocket Ship and 2018 P & D bags and rolls both state "the original 1964 (obverse) design". Design does not mean a High Relief Strike.
and it is not a High Relief.
