That would make sense. Odds are 1/245 packs.

And why variations are out of a master set

    Welcome WS!

    Very nice pulls buddy.

    What's your first name?

Is this your first year collecting Heritage. We have some people here including myself who have been doing the set since 2001.

Yes. That makes some of us really old.

Thanks Stone! My first name is John. It is my first year with Heritage. I'm sort of an old newbie. I stopped collecting around 96 and just got back in two years ago. I was mainly into football when I initially got back in, but now I've seen the light! ;)

Is that chipping on the left edge of Soto?

Yes, unfortunately, it came out that way. :(

It looks like a special edition parallel mystery B sold for $995. I'm tempted to list it, especially since I don't know what the heck I'd get.

  • WaltWalt Posts: 1,275 ✭✭✭

The rumor is that one of the players will be Vlad Jr. who is pretty hot right now, but 995...ummmm I would take that in heartbeat!

So all I need now is Scratch off #1 Mike Trout. Instead of me spending $10 on eBay because it's Trout, if anyone has one to trade, or wants to get more cards into his set by taking Trout out, I will over-trade in your favor to pry it away from you.

    What I have to trade:
    SPs – 441.
    NAP – 1, 9, 16, 19, 21, and 25.
    T&N – 2, 3, and 14.
    BF - Yastrzemski.
    NF – 9 and 11.
    Scratch Offs – 5 and 13.
    Chromes – 421 and 460.
    Refractors – 407, 429, and 478.
    Purple Refractors - 401, 403, 408, 411, 426, 432, 433, 443, 445, 454, 455, 462, 466, 468, 474, 478, 490, and 494.
Clubhouse Collection – Mookie Betts, Evan Longoria, Nomar Mazara, Zack Greinke, Scooter Gennett, Dellin Betances, and Christian Yelich.

I’m not going to be buying anymore hobby’s I don’t think, so id be happy to trade my scratch-offs. I have 2, 3, 7, & 12. I peaked inside the Altuve, just to see what was inside. Still fully intact of course. The other three haven’t been peaked in. I’m still going through my base set, but I have doubles and triples of A LOT, if you’re looking for a card to complete a set, please let me know! Thanks!

Edit: the Molina (7) has a slight tear at the top. Damn.

I was late to the game this year, and ordered a case of hanger boxes. Huge mistake. Huge, huge mistake
Ended up with about 40 sp's, one relic, a few scratch offs, 2 refractors and 4 chromes, a mini, and a signed Blue Crew.
My goal was to build a set, not go for hits, but I got neither. Didn't even complete New Age Performers.
Is it too early to order a hobby case of '20 Heritage?

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

Hanger boxes have always been my worst package for hits. After hobby, blasters and sometimes gravity feed packs have been the best bets. I've opened a hobby case & 60 retail packs , still 13 cards away from a master set. If you need base let me know Anthony.

    Topps Heritage

    Now collecting:
    Topps Heritage

    1957 Topps BB Ex+-NM
    All Yaz Items 7+
    Various Red Sox
    Did I leave anything out?

Since '06 I've alternated every year between buying a complete set and buying and ripping a case. I always have held back one box of the case to keep unopened, and I've never not completed the master set from that case. WTF are they doing to the distribution? Dave you ripped a case AND 60 packs? That's crazy to not have a master set.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

The 100 SP count certainly doesn't help either. I busted a blaster case (much smaller than hobby) and a ton of retail and you see where my list is ..... definitely a losing proposition but it's my 1st year back since 2008 so I'm turning a blind eye with this one. Next year? Don't know .... it is '71 Topps after all.

    Agree Dan

If ya don't keep track? It'll get away for sure.

Mary would buy a few blasters if she saw them; I would do same. Before ya know it?

    I've dropped 1500 bucks!

BTW - 1/2 way thru hobby case - usual suspects...

Did land another "action" but did get an error! Of of Soto - "National" is misspelled.

Mike, I’m over a grand but not near 1,500. I’m done. I turned off the spigot after going nuts for 4 days. The only hobby I’d did were two FB breaks and I just got the 1st in the mail. It was Baseball Card Exchange only Heritage case break. I did well and talking about variations this is what I hit!
One team name and four Actions....

    Thanx Robert.

I went back and checked my SPs Dan.

I found a few I missed - one has a little French but is "not" marked under the card # - ya gotta look at the codes on the bottom to insure you don't miss any.

Right now I have 4 actions, 1 French, 1 team and 1 error

edit: did pull from a box a genuine 70T poster:
