I was hoping it would be OK to get a little nostalgic.
When Kevin aka JoeStalin was on the boards, around 2004 and 5 - Heritage was white hot and there was a lot of fun and buzz.
In 04, I bought a case and got "zero" autos. I was bummed.
There was a member here who bought 2 cases every year.
In comes 05 and again NO autos! I mentioned this on the "official" thread.
A really generous and good guy - Jim Vitale aka Highend sent me this:
They don't come any better!
Unfortunately, Jim ran on hard times, got a divorce and left the hobby - Heritage was his pride and joy that he shared with his son (if memory serves, Jim was a NYC detective).

Also Dave (magellan) take a look at your 25 SPs from your first 3 boxes. Topps is pretty good about 8 per box, so one of those 25 might be a variation (ie. action, trade, error, etc....)
I'll double check, thanks Nick.

See you tomorrow Nick.
Through 5 hobby boxes and some retail... I have 49 SPs
35 are different. Get it together Topps.....
Is there a Action Image or color swap or error or what ever stupid thing we're up to this year in every hobby box? I have 3 Action images and 2 color swaps. But each box with a color swap had a action image as well. Two boxes I've missed the "special" card or I didn't get one. I vaguely remember this happening to me last year.
Also I have more autos than GU at this point 3 to 2. So I'm probably done with autos at this point.

Chrome sounds like it is much tougher these days. Two years ago with 2017 Heritage I hit a hot box on my first box and got a purple chrome every pack and had zero clue about them. Next box I got 2-3 and commented I got ripped because I did not get a purple card every pack. I thought after the first box they were 1/pack 😄 Think total chromes I have about 65-75.
Also, every box I kept getting this Judge guy and wondered why no Moncada’s. Problem is I have them all still sitting in my closet collecting dust - chromes and Judge rookies. Got the rookies graded and all came back BGS 9.5’s.

As a heritage guy I know it's wrong to say a 4 auto case is a dud, but......
The odds have become so increasingly difficult on most of the good stuff that ripping a case isn't the thrill it used to be. It's a little vanilla. Don't get me wrong, I do heritage for the set, but I also like to sell off the cream to defray some cost.
Another thought, why 4 NAP per box? They are so tight to the completion number on all the other easy inserts (if you open a full case) that giving 23 extra NAP in a case is silly. They could give us 3 per box and use those 12 spaces for better things in the case. Heck I wouldn't even mind if they gave us 2 per box in a case and we came up 1 short on the complete 25 card NAP set. At least they would have more open spots to add better things in the case.
My trade list is together, but I know most guys haven't even gotten their product yet (or are still buying), so I wont post it yet.

Nice hit on the Ryan Dave. Now bring it all together with a nice one in box 12.
Reading all of this I had to check back with the local Walmart at lunch and they got the Heritage in!
I got a small assortment.
1-Blaster
2-Hanger
2-Fat Packs
The stats
5-NAP Andujar, Betts, Bregman, Soto, DeGrom
4-SP Springer, Albies, Kluber, Gurriel Jr.
2-BF Brooks Robinson, Steve Carlton
1-Scratch Off Paul Goldschmidt
1-Chrome Adam Jones
1-Cloth Justin Verlander
Unfortunately the little flaw near the bottom edge is not my camera. I guess that is the nature of printing on that material.

Cardboardconnections.com has a checklist. Not sure about the format but seems you could copy & paste into your Adobe app.
