A little late but I have spent the last week or so opening and sorting 5 and 1/2 cases of hobby and retail cases of blasters, hanger boxes and the thick packs. I have several needs if anyone is still trading and here a few highlights from my cases.

Here are the before photos as the ripping had just begun. I had just purchased apple tv and was still in the try out phase so please ignore the cords going to the tv on the wall, I can promise you that it has been pulled through the wall and connected properly with no cords showing now.

It's kinda funny now that I think about it. I only have the pictures of everything that needs to be ripped because I was sending them to my wife to aggravate her. She enjoys opening boxes just as much as I do and she was heartbroken thinking that everything would be opened before she got home. What she didn't realize was we would be opening packs for the next 3 days and then sorting for the next 5 after we both got home from work. I guess the joke was mainly on me because she some how couldn't find a way to get home until late each day during the sorting process.

Exactly, not a single red auto. It was disappointing because I pulled more red autos the last 2 years than I did blue. I also pulled a dual auto relic last year I believe and a triple auto the year before.

I am the same way, we actually got the numerical sorting done over the first weekend. I then spent the next 7 days going through each card and picking out my master set with the hopes and dreams of grading the entire set one day. I am in the process of putting together a PSA submission for the big hits and the sp's and variations from my set as I do get those graded each year. I still have not managed to grade an entire set yet. I am close with 2017 however, I believe I am about 43% graded with about 98% of that in PSA 10.

I opened a full hobby case Stoney and was short 12 SPs.

I'm left to believe that the more cases the better odds of completing sets - but you must've opened a ton of stuff beyond the 5 + cases of hobby to get that many "full" SP sets.

    Awesome break Stoney.

My best ever was 2 cases and some random retail from the 1961 design (2010 I think), and that was quite an undertaking. So much work, but so much fun.

I miss the icon and name Nick.

When we went to the new format, Kevin contacted me but it didn't last long - for a day or so banned members had access.

Back in the early 2000s - for me - Kevin was "Mr Heritage."

What the hell was Topps thinking?

These are seeded at 1 per 4.25 cases!

Why do I want a card of the "Finance Team" of Topps?

They are Wal-Mart Retail packs. 15 of them yielded what you'd probably expect -

    5 SPs
    1 BF
    2 NAPs
    1 NF
    1 T&N
    2 Cloths!
