No sold out sign up yet. So there is still hope. Shipping window is now 2 days now from sale to ship according to my last order. Their orders are probably consolidated and caught up with.
Last week's was at 14,793. I guess they are not anticipating returns. Its been almost 3 weeks for that to happen.
The number remaining has dropped from last weeks numbers to 119 left. Getting real close to a sell out. At this rate it could take maybe 2 weeks? Any other projections of when it will be official?
edit to correct my math
Market is not cooling down for raws especially in sealed boxes. Listings on ebay have been constant past few days. I still see NGC 70s at $3200 BINs though and they have not increased the past week like the raws.
Sets get returned, examined for potential resale, they could even mint more. Tuesday they put up stuff that gets delivered on Monday or over the weekend.

Not necessarily true. I had an early purchase just ship a few days ago. Sometimes credit card issues, etc, can delay a shipment. I doubt many of these get returned.
I think this is a great release from the Mint but feel once it is sold out officially on the site and rest of the coins get back to dealers in PF70 then things will start to cool a bit. The even higher bids on Ebay the past two days I think are great for the person who sold them but also they will be hit hard if someone makes a claim up to 180 days later via Ebay or PP. There are some dealers with very strong offers but the high prices realized on Ebay I would be wary selling and then hoping the other shoe doesn't drop months down the line when the person who purchased sees that the price has cooled off. Unfortunately it happens it seems.
Will we be getting a repeat of this wonderful offering anytime in the future? This was as much fun as the old days when it took up to a couple hours to even get your order in. But those were the fun times. Last time we really had a good Coin was with the 2015 Proof Platinum. I was really hyped about getting one of those. Too bad it takes a couple years to get a good one even offered.
You can be sure that the market makers and savvy insiders of Modern coin fame will not be caught standing when the game of musical chairs is over, it has happened over and over again, what goes up must come down.
Important: these population numbers DO NOT COUNT the many hundreds that were graded 69 or less, but did not get slabbed because the bulk and some regular submitters filled in the "minimum grade" of 70 box.
Edited to add, these pop numbers also do not count the hundreds that were looked at and because of flaws, were NOT sent in for grading.
The hardness of palladium and triple strikes wearing out dies early mentioned above is one reason there are also a lot of 69's, but until PCGS adds a population column for total graded coins (not graded and slabbed coins) we do not know the "rest of the story".
The only things I see as far as marks only show up when I downloaded the large True View to really study it. On the obverse at the bottom between the bonnet and hair is a possible impact mark, and to the right of that near the two reflection lines is what looks like a light horizontal scuff.
These are pretty small, so I am guessing it could also be a finish issue which often can only be seen by tilting the coin and rotating it in the light, at angles. So the issue preventing it from being a 70, could be something hard to see front on like the photo.

Welcome to the forum. You should still feel good about your purchase. Many did not get them at all. These are great coins to keep, or sell in any condition. Good luck on your next order and submission in the future.
"It's hard to tell why it's a 69 and not a 70. But then that is usually hard to tell"
Here's make take on 69's and 70's. A 70 could be a 69 to some, and a 69 could be a 70 to others. It's like splitting the split piece of hair. Surely there are Pd. 69's out there, if resubmitted could come back 70. My one example is riddled with specs and tiny dings, with a streak of sorts on the obverse when tilted. I would greade it a 7, jmo.
EDIT: If anyone has a scratch free 2018 Pd. capsule, I would be willing to take it. Mine has scratches on both pieces.
I have had 7 grades post. Only two 70's. They might be harder to get than first thought.
That's great information. As others have noted, the figures that we see are heavily skewed by the big boys submitting w/minimum grades.
That is really sobering.
Did you look at them before submitting? If so, did they look good or did you see any issues? Assuming that you would not submit any w/obvious issues?
One or two I noticed slight imperfections, but I had a few with slight imperfections grade 70 with the 2017's, so I took a chance. I think imperfections are just more obvious to graders on a proof coin.
yeah I don't even know if it was 30 seconds I was able to get one in a bag but not check it out and I try to check it out less than 30 seconds after adding it to the bag but who knows.
Hopefully can check it out tomorrow.
It's just crazy that they still pop up like it so wonder how much longer this will go on.
At some point some of us have to sleep past 7:30 Eastern Time
I can't believe I was able to get in cart and check out this morning using my father's account. Usually I don't have that kind of luck. Well I not going to be greedy but wanted 2 because I have 2 kids. So tomorrow I will not be competing to get one. Good luck to those still trying.
That is a lot of these being graded everyday. The graders should be pretty skilled at this stage in knowing where and what to look for to find minor flaws.
Sometimes I feel based on my submittals, this makes getting 70's a bit more challenging over time.

Never came up for me either, and I was clicking refresh non stop. Must have only been a second or two.

Over at Provident for a buck under spot. Got me some. Rugged boar. Ain’t palladium, though

I believe it went up a bit after they sold the first 2500.
Yes , I forgot to say that.

Maybe this is why so many PR70 are being graded.
Hoard the keys.

Finally got shipping notification on my Sept 25th order. Looks to be 2-3 days shipping if you can snag one in the morning.
What do you think of my pcgs 69 grade?
http://images.pcgs.com/trueview/36090290
It's hard to tell why it's a 69 and not a 70. But then that is usually hard to tell.
MJB, what do you’d ee that dictates a 69?
I am new to numismatic and have really only bought bullion coins until this one. I dont see anything but I am far from an expert.
Sorry Mjb

It will be delivered to me tomorrow. I will look at the areas you mentioned Goldminers and thank you for taking the time to look.
