Picked up a sample slab of a NGC fattie but it has a grade
I did not think they had grades. I dont collect these but thought this one was interesting. And for price of less than a cup of coffee I thought why not It does look way better than proof 65 though. Maybe that was just standard for the sample? -

Last few months I sent one coin to ANACS for review and one coin to NGC for review. I purchase both coins on the net, basically sight unseen, because they were in these slabs and were the coins I wanted. Has anyone ever seen the 1861 IHC graded MS68
I'm going to guess that there was one graded MS-68, I believe I was looking at the the Ally (SP) collection, that contained a MS-67. pop showed 1 higher then this coin. Has anyone ever seen this coin, and perhaps have a picture of it. I guess why I'm thinking about it, how many IHC's for all years have been graded MS-68.… -
Has anybody crossed ANACS high grade Lincolns to PCGS?
I ask because it appears that PCGS does not want to give a 67 grade to 50s Lincolns unless it's 67PQ, at least from viewing the pictures of examples at Heritage and Teletrade. A 67.2 is a 67 but apparently not at PCGS.......&&%(#@# -
Has anyone experienced extremely long grading times at NGC?
I am planning on grading my congrats and ASE when I get them, but I sent in some ASE to be graded on the 29th if January. It has be "scheduled for grading" since that time. I see they changed their time frame from 12 days to 29, but come on, this is nuts how slow they are moving -
