Has anyone experienced extremely long grading times at NGC?

I am planning on grading my congrats and ASE when I get them, but I sent in some ASE to be graded on the 29th if January. It has be "scheduled for grading" since that time. I see they changed their time frame from 12 days to 29, but come on, this is nuts how slow they are moving

I have a submission that I sent them at the end of December (Received 1/7) that is still in "Received" status.
I've only used their services a time or two and, when I did, they were lightning fast.

Super fast, less than a month for me for mint errors
It partly depends on the influx of coins coming in, Elite and Bulk submitters will always bump to the head of the line...meaning push you back(happens w/PCGS too). My Moderns took 27 days, my World Gold 8, still waiting on my Economy @ 34 days. Honestly both places can be all over the place time wise...not to include goofy shipping delays. 7 days from FL to OH...took 3 days for Alaska to Oh...go figure.
Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.
Maybe ask on the NGC forum???
Yes!
A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.
A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.
Maybe due to virus the coins needs to quarantine for 2 weeks?
I sent two coins in for grading using the express teir last month. From the day they were delivered to NGC till the day they were shipped back was 5 days. They arrived to NGC on a Monday and I got a tracking number the following Monday.
Just be glad you are not waiting on sports cards.
Lol

Yes. My last submission in 2006 took more than six weeks.
