Re: A "Darksider" Hillbilly appreciation giveaway!!!!!Wybrit's choice now!!!!!
Well i kinda like this one... It's English, it's a hammered silver penny and it's from the reign of King Edward I (Longshanks... of Braveheart fame). Struck at the Bristol mint in 1280, i know this one to the year because it's Class 2B and 2B was only struck in that year. Edward I of course conquered Wales and subjected it… -

Re: 70s Topps All-Star peculiarities?
Bobby, I can give you one answer. 1976 Topps has two N.L. Third Basemen with All-Star designations: Ron Cey & Pete Rose. However, Pete Rose started the 1975 game as a Left Fielder. Therefore, he had to have been on the all-star ballot as an outfielder in 1975. According to baseball reference he played only 35 games in LF… -
Re: Fantasy baseball information/questions/answers
Chris Ray will be the closer in Baltimore and Brandon Morrow will do the same in Seattle. Mark Teahen will be a solid pickup as he will quickly be eligible at 2B and at 27, should be looking at 20 HR's, 85 RBI and a .290 AVG. That would put him in the top 5 2B (behind Utley, Pedroia, Kinsler, Phillips and even with Uggla).… -
Re: Red Sox trade Lester and Gomes
<< <i> << <i>For the A's the final outcome of this trade will be known by November. Win the World Series it'll be considered an excellent trade. Go one 'n done in the ALDS (like they always do and personally I think history will repeat again this season) and it'll be considered a trade for nothing. The A's opportunity… -

Re: What do you think of these???
Ya know... The multiholder would be way cool for my Romanian 1867 1B, 2B, 5B, 10B proofs.... but only 2 are full RD, the other 2 are RB. Do I try and hold out to find RDs of the others? I don't want to crack out or cross my PCGS SPs... working on a set of those too. Aesthetics aside, if you had a 63RD and a 65RB of the…
