Yes, I have no idea how the Beliveau rookie isn't a 9. The corners are sharp. The centering is within PSA 9 limits. The focus is a little off but so are most. I'm happy, regardless.

    Thanks for the kind words.

Thats a Sweeeeet Beliveau. It would not look out of place in a 9 holder.

Great, great pick up on the Orr. One of the toughest o-pee-chee Orr cards out there. That is a beauty

With the exception of Gordie's '54 Topps card, his '63 Parkie is probably the most beautiful hockey card ever produced. (Just don't know why yours "only" received an 8.5.)

Your Delvecchio is also a gem.

    RedHeart,

I am in 100% agreement regarding Gordie's greatest cards. Here's my 54 Topps example:

Sure thing, Mike. After all, as you argued, it is your icon image.

Seriously, that Howe 1954 Topps card is my favorite card of all-time.

1 of 1 with none higher. Spots are dust on the holder, not on the card. Very happy to finally land this one.

1 of 2 with one higher. Has a light scratch on the front or would have been a nine. This one's reverse is better then the nine.

I was following the PSA Lemieux and saw it didn't hit the reserve. What did you end up paying if you don't mind revealing?

Great work!! I have the other PSA 8 Lemieux and the other PSA 8 Gretzky. At least everyone knows where they are.

Great job Nathanael. The other PSA 9 Gretzky is in the #4 Gretzky collector set on the Registry.

Obviously someone thinks that card will cross to a PSA 6 or 6.5

That was a lot of $$$

And it does look better than a PSA 5 BUT, has a wrinkle on the back.

I remember collecting the Topps version of that Ray Bourque as a kid and having to rub off the black to reveal his name.
