CNBC was reporting that Torrie HQ in London was being stormed by student protesters protesting the proposed cutbacks in student funding as part of the austerity measures under consideration that are intended to prevent a financial collapse in England/Europe. Bonds in the US are now being seen as a flight to safety, causing the anticipated demand for 30 year Treasuries to increase and the dollar to rise.
Greece, Ireland and Portugal(?) are now seen as the impetus for today's pressure on the Euro.

I was getting ready to say that silver must be un-coupling from gold, but then I looked at Kitco. Gold is in Saturn-V trajectory at the moment!
