gecko109 is the same dope that started a thread about receiving the wrong cards in the mail from a seller, and would not release them to the seller or the correct buyer until he was given $3 via paypal. I guess the drunkard in him thought that the masses would side with him, but when that thread made him look like a monkey's banana exit, he got it to go poof
Then he started a drunken rant about how he has to pay for his kid's day care but some got the same care free with assistance. When he started to sound like a fool in that thread (almost immediately), it also mysteriously went poof.
Hopefully he will get back inside his tiny clown car and drive away.
That's 10 minutes I'll never get back. Unbelievable how somebody could get so worked up over $3. Reminds me of the paperboy in "Better Off Dead" who won't go away until he gets his two dollars. I WANT MY TWO DOLLARS!
Bottom line.....I dont HAVE to sell these things.......I have a closet FULL of various items I won from auctions. I am not hurting for money, dont need to raise anything to meet payroll, make rent, etc.........I just won these by accident and thought I would pass them along at cost to various board members if they were interested......I am NOT a card searcher.......I have no interest in scamming people....I dont sit at home thinking of ways to con people.....my mother raised me better than that......

As much as I like that set (I own 5 myself), I really think that product has nowhere to go but down. The print run is larger than people think. I can remember 89-90 boxes going for $120, then the print runs came out and they are now $30.
Wax boxes will settle out at $200. 87-88 wax boxes will come down too to the same range. No RC's (sorry Detlef Schempf lovers) and bland design hurt it. Even though rumor has it the 87-88 had a lower print run than 86-87.

Otis Thorpe was awesome - and he had one of the best baseball passes in the game! Terry Porter RC was in the '87 set too - very solid player. '88 set is definitely more loaded though.
