How was the pricing? I think LR was preselling a case for $625, which was probably why he went out of business. I hope that kind of pricing is still available next year-

Hey guys! I know this is a 2009 thread, but I thought you all would be interested. I went to a card show yesterday and opened a box of 2008 Topps Heritage High Numbers. I pulled one of the ultra scarce Chrome cards of Jerry Hairston numbered 0103/1959!

We all know that there was some type of production error and this card is the key to completing the Chrome set. I have only seen 4 or 5 ever listed on Ebay. There are ZERO listed right now and none in the completed items search. This may be the last opportunity to add this card to your set. I want to maximize what I can get for this card and will be listing it on EBay tonight unless I get an offer that I can not refuse. I am very interested in trading it for EX or better vintage needed for my sets. I do not have a value in mind so just make an offer and if I like it then I will consider it with other offers. So I'm finally getting around to sorting the 1-425 portion of this year's set and I think I've discovered at least two more very rare cards. I've now ripped 13 retail boxes and three blasters and pulled just one Manny (which I immediately put into my Dodgers set, because surely there will be more for my master set NOT). I can also report that I didn't pull a single #312 Aaron Rowand. I did however pull a total of four "SP" Phillies coaches.

So can anyone help a Heritage brotha out? Manny is #251. Thanks!

Can someone who has most or all of the variations remind me of what should be expected on the backs? Are they regular light stock, or are they all dark stock like the SPs, or are they all light stock except the Hanley Ramirez all-star 'SP'? I just received a Glavine today with light stock.

As far as the 2009 Heritage Clubhouse Collection AU Relics go, is Bill Harris a good one?

I got an email from Topps, stating is was going to take longer to receive and ........

"If you no longer wish to wait for the redemption card, please contact our Consumer Relations team in order to place a substitution request for a card of equal Beckett value. "

From the list.......... (aside from the obvious Howard and perhaps Kershaw)...is Harris worth the wait?

Most people would probably prefer a substitute in order to get something now of value. My advice would be to wait. If you are the only one of the less than 25 people that are holding on to this redemption (assuming some are still in packs) that wait then you could possibly be the only one with this card! Just my two cents....

Thanks, that's a good point. I'm not in any hurry (the redemption is from 3/20/09), and there is not a replacement I would want either.

So I guess I will hang tight and wait.

Have any of the cut signatures surfaced? I think I only saw only on ebay.

More of the focus has been on the SSP, which I guess is a cheaper way to generate buzz (over quality HoF autos)

Any ideas on the recent surge in pricing of '09 Heritage Black Refractors? I have a Peavy that I bought for about $10-$12 about a month ago...one just ended at $70. It's not the only example of high pricing recently, either.
