Read an article today about the advertising panels introduced by Topps in the 2008 Heritage.

I am certain some of you knew this, I did not. Topps actually introduced these in 1959

and referred to them as "salesman sample strip cards" so the potential retailers could

preview the set. The strips were of three cards, as the ones in 08 and 09 Heritage.

I,for one, did not realize that Topps had actually done this. These samples are apparantly

extremely rare. Craig in Ohio
