If PCGS discovers milk spots on these unopened coins, will they grade them with the spots???
I know I have 10 graded sets in my SDB and at least 2 or 3 have developed milk spots.
Are spots more apt to occur in the slabs, as opposed to leaving them in their Mint capsules??

However, I feel sorry for the Moe Rons who are paying large premiums for 2009 Lincoln Cents. As far as I'm concerned these are not collectible and are worth 50 cents per roll.

I read a lot about IS products on here and people swearing by them.
I have not tried them yet.
As for the milk spots, I know many people on here swear that it's the rinse from the Mint
that causes them. The only other variable in your situation is that you left them in the Mint
capsules. I've had coins in Gov't packaging for years and some are pristine, some are not.
I wouldn't put it past them though to use CHEAP CHEAP plastic in those things!

If the issues are caused by something already on the surface of the coin, I don't think you can blame IS for that.
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

I just sold the last of my raw sets about a month ago on eBay for $4,600
