Kevin, don't get me started on how worthless Beckett and their price "guide" is.

Chromes do not sell nearly as briskly on ebay as short prints, even though there's clearly fewer chromes out there than short prints....the supply is lower but apparently so is the demand. I have sold probably 1000 short prints on ebay in the last year and during that same time i bet i've only sold 20 chromes total. And I have a large supply available, but at $2.75ea they just aren't as popular. But I like 'em...especially the refractors, maybe even more than the regular cards.

You can usually pickup a complete chrome set for about $200 on ebay, and sometimes even much cheaper...especially 2007 which had ZERO star power.

However, bottom line, i think a chrome per sp is a fair trade.

    Peace.

I sent an email to every single seller on ebay who had the ARAMIS SUPER SP listed. I told them they were falsely listing cards and I thought it was a shame that they were trying to rip off people that had not done their homework.

Needless to say, I got some less than happy replies on my ebay "messages" tab.

I finally pulled the trigger today. I stopped by my hobby shop and picked up the last two hobby boxes he was saving for me. Earlier in the day, I bought 16 retail packs from Target. Sorting everything right now....will have a trade/want list up tonight.

One quick comment....the black printing marks on some of the cards this year is really disappointing. Topps quality control absolutely was awful this year.

Ahh #7 great, now I can honestly say I pulled nothing this year worth anything from heritage! LOL

You all are starting to heat up! I appreciate all the scans. I am now 3 cards shy of my master set 444-438 and 427. It has been fun helping
others out and getting all kinds of packages in the mailbox. Keep the great pulls coming!

    7 more Jumbos from Walmart:

    ZERO Mayos (ouch!)
4 SPs (all dupes, but then I only need 3 to finish....)
2 NAPs (including Pedroia, who I needed)
    1 BBFB
    1 T&N (now I need just #10 for 2 sets)
2 Chrome (both dupes: Delgado and Doumit)

The quest for Walmart Mayos continues.

I hate not being to trade yet. >>

Based on the miserable collation of my case, I'll be trading for the next three months Geordie, so I'll be right here waiting for you (and I won't even force any Giants cards on you)...

I saw someone's 2005 set done that way. I don't like it. There is too much space around the card in the pocket. In 2005, I turned my binder 90 degrees and put my cards in 9-pocket pages. That way cards 1,2 & 3 were along the rings not along the top edge of the page. I like the way that worked, but I'm not sure about doing it this year because of the vertical coahes cards. I am still considering.
Collector of 1976 Topps baseball for some stupid reason.
Collector of Pittsburgh Pirates cards for a slightly less stupid reason.

Does anyone have all the card numbers for the SSPs?

In the interest of fair trading, how many SPs per Refractor and Black Refractor? I think we've established 1 to 1 on Chrome, just curious what others consider fair before I complete a trade with a fellow board member here. I was thinking it's probably something like 2 to 1 or 3 to 2 per Refractor, and a similar scaling for Black.
    Thanks!
