Looks like retail is definitely the way to go this year. I am getting more & more anxious to receive my case. I hope the blacks fall in the same number for me as for others - I need to find at least two so that I can trade them to Chris for his Ethier & Kershaw blacks!

Craig - you got a pretty good case, eh? Looks like all of your black refractors have pretty good centering.

Mike, I'm sure once everybody gets their retail in hand there will be plenty of trading to complete the extra master set. image

Funny, I was looking on Ebay yesterday and saw a Dual Masterson auto and put it in my watch list

Just went back there to delete it since I have one now and noticed it's one with a different "old-timer"

guess it stays on my list

<< <i>anyone do any research on the ad panels? list? variations?

    Kevin

Brad (boiler75) and I have been working on a checklist for the ad panels. Together we have identified 87 of the 88. That panel is either XXX/Pujols/Haren or Gonzalez/LeBlanc/XXX. Once we know for sure, one or both of us will post the list. One thing I've noticed from the two hobby boxes I opened is that the first three cards in each pack were almost always the players who were on the panels.

Since I have nothing to rip today I thought I would make some base sets today, while doing so I noticed card #405 Robinson Cano. I know it's not a variation just a printing issue, but I thought it was interesting that I had exactly the same number of each version. The card on the left has a nice purple streak that starts between his eyes and goes below his eye. Like I said, I'm just a little bored todat. image

How long before someone tries to pass off their own SSP?

Anyhow, I just noticed this. All of my #113 Brandon Moss cards look like this one. There is no color in his last name. Does anyone have one that looks different?

There are 2 on Ebay with pictures and they both look exactly like yours. Don't think he has a chrome and don't know if he's on the panels. 1960 Topps #113 Bob Skinner (a pirate outfielder) has a white and yellow last name.

    Edited: for more info.
