Yep...my date JUST changed to 2/20, for the coin...the book has always been 2/20. Sigh...I guess I'll be lucky to remain a customer with my own USMint account at this rate...not that it's dong me any good...almost all my orders of late have been canceled. Gotta stop ordering things AFTER the hype...

Maybe they are waiting for all orders to be in. Then they will know how many books to produce. Then they will be able to send them all out on the same day. Maybe 1/28/10 is the actual ship date.
Maybe it would help if those of you living near the fullfillment center gather outside and demand the release of the UHRDE.

I found that on mine if I use the tracking avenue it does not show the order date but when I used my order history it does show the order date.

I believe yours is the earliest reported order. It is beginning to look like availability of the book is the problem. It will be real interesting to learn whether the coins will head out before the book.
I emailed PCGS regarding their First Strike designation "if received within the first 30 days of release", and I received a reply yesterday from PCGS customer service:
PCGS has yet to solidify a first strike cutoff date for this coin because of all the delays. They are going by when people are sent the first shipments which we don’t know at this point. I hope this helps. If you have any further questions, please call customer service at 1-800-447-8848.

Interesting. Almost sounds like they are saying the coin is being reserved until the book is ready to ship on the 20th. Still curious if any orders will have gone out by the end of this week (tomorrow) as the telephone reps apparently promised to those who called last week.
It seem that we step forward one step and then step back two steps, What is going on, they play the shipping date like the ship is threading water, maybe they only have one employee that keeping the ship afloat, question, what do you guys think?

Another government conspiracy. There are no gold blanks available and won't be until must later this year. The mint should just come right out and say that orders will not begin shipping until mid-March at the earliest regardless of how early you ordered the coin on the first day. This would help their credibility instead of stringing us along.
From another poster's comment (cancel book and get coin sooner)... what if I cancelled the coin, but kept the book order active? The book would be sent to me at $0 cost. What could I flip this one-of-a-kind book for on Ebay?

You pay the price that was effective on the date of order, not today's. Your price is fixed in stone unless they cancel the order.

And if you're going for notoriety, make sure to submit it in the first 30 days, then you will have a First Strike AU58 Pop 1.

From past experience with the 20th Anniversary AGE/AGE sets, even once the cancel box disappears, they can re-appear.
You never know what actually is happening until you see the package in hand.
